Actually, there's some slight things shown in Reminisce that you'd get/notice after watching S2. The intended order "storyline wise" is S1, S2, then Reminisce or the Movie (either can be watched at this point). Miyuki's side of things "the honor student" can also be watched at any time after Season 1.
I don't know why they called it reminiscence arc in the OVA despite it being the strength arc from the manga which is the version they adapted. In the LN it took place between volumes 8 and 9 when they visited the Yotsuba for holidays after they were invited by their aunt at the end of volume 8. The story was being told in Miyuki's perspective since she was reminiscing the events of when she first met her brother up to the battle of okinawa.

Of course I would recommend reading LN if you want some detailed information that were mostly omitted from the anime. alternatively there's also manga both volume 1 to 4,6 and 7 are already complete. the main problem with the manga is every arc adapted by different manga artist, so art style are basically inconsistent, but the story remains true to LN.

I wonder how much time passes between their reactions from episode to episode because most of the stuff that they were asking were properly explained in anime multiple times and they couldn't make simple connections between them. Whenever it was Watanabe magic, or Tatsuya operator name Ooguro and other stuff that were mentioned. I don't think it's necessary but if you are paying attention to story and writing those are the things you can definitely remember.

All the reactors couldn’t connect tatsuya’s nickname muttered with the report right after saying someone saw him. Had no idea tatsuya is the demon of Okinawa. I don’t get how ppl aren’t able to connect or retain what they’re seeing or reading, especially since they weren’t turning away or talking.
This is something i was asking my self only explanation that i come with it's possible that they were watching episodes like two or three weeks one after another and they lost it in meantime because if you are paying attention to story there is no way you can miss those things.

Gonna correct myself. Its actually volumes 7 and 9. Reminiscence arc is volume 8. Been a long time already since I last read the LNs.
