- When a boxer who often cheats in the boxing ring gets defeated.
The heavyweight boxing match between Lamon Brewster and Andrew Golota, a Polish-born heavyweight boxer who has a reputation as a tough but notoriously dirty heavyweight. Even Andrew Golota, who often ignored the rules in the boxing ring, was nicknamed the "Pole Violator" by some boxing critics.
In one of his fights in 1995, Andrew Golota bit the shoulder of an opponent, namely Samson Po'uha, and managed to win the fight via TKO victory in the fifth round.
A year later, Golota again showed a dishonorable act by hitting his head against his opponent's face when he faced boxer from the United States, Danell Nicholson. And since then the name Andrew Golota has become increasingly known as a brutal fighter in the ring.
And in his two matches against Riddick Bowe in 1996

Andrew Golota had to be disqualified twice in their matches for throwing low shots and ignoring warnings from the match referee.
And in 2010, Andrew Golota had a chance to fight Mike Tyson, which had to leave boxing fans in great dismay at the time. Where in that match Andrew Golota left the boxing ring by only completing two rounds of his fight against Mike Tyson, out of the 10 rounds that had been planned.
However, in Andrew Golota's match against Lamon Brewster on May 21, 2005, at the United Center, Chicago, United States, Andrew Golota did not have the slightest opportunity to commit fraud, as he had done in several matches in the past.
Because in this match, as soon as the first round bell sounded, Lamon Brewster immediately attacked and managed to knock Andrew Golota down three times in the first round of this match, to win this fight via TKO victory, 58 seconds in the first round.

He was never anything more than a thug who in his younger years joined a Warsaw gang of criminals who did anything they wanted without remorse. Golata had the tools to make a good fighter, but he lacked character. He never went by the rules other fighters lived by. Just a common thug and gangster from Warsaw's streets.
In other words, Golota was a democrat.

@@speeddemon9555 Exactly, he had his facial bones broken (the cheek bone if I remember correctly), he would have been an idiot with such alarm warnings to continue fighting.
It's also not often said that Lennox killed him. He fell with no breath and no heartbeat in the lockers room, he got resurrected by electro stimulation.
So having these signs and this pain during the Tyson fight, he was 100% right to stop.
Also props to him to continue boxing after these bad experiences, tough cookie !

not an idiot, he was a coward that resorted to fouling whenever his opponents put that heat/pressure on him!....he would find away to get out of the fight....he did control himself much better in the new millennium but those guys weren't puttin' that pressure on him like bowe and tyson!

He ran away as he was seriously hurt and his corner was there to protect him but didn’t do there job, Mike Tyson used to do similar things when he was losing, he never ran away but he still done the rest of the stuff golota done
