When the baler wheel rotation matches the camera shutter speed it freezes them is amazing. I really like this one.
I can hear Gerta crying 😭 😂
You mean climate Barby?
whos Gerta?

@@JoeyCampbell988 Oh Gretta, thats a hard name to miss-spell alright.
Socialism now that sounds good.
Amazing combination. Oldschool Deere Powers💪 That moment he turns on the baler, oooeh, that sound, love it.
True but it sounds like they have added something to the engine
Well at least nothin runs like a Deere so it shouldn’t brake and it feels like that balers far to big for the ole poor Deere
That's one of the coolest tractors ever built
Don't mess the old school technologies.💪💪💪
Tractor works as awsome as it looks! Baler appears to be doing great job too. Two thumbs up!!
Was für ein Monster Sound 👍👍💪💪
Super !!!!!
WOW look at all of that pollution, so awesome...
Good to see the Hippy Tears Black Smoke
🔝🔝😍😍
how much kg is every bale;
Around 400 ish kg
500 to 650 kg
Horse power?
200hp
@the Shadow 250hp?
Just google it mate! U will see jeez...
@@JavierGarcia-kk8td thanks
Oi mate! No problem! My answer was for the another guy... bc he just said more but nothing after that...
Pull that engine out that tractor and put a cummins 6bt with a p fuel injection pump on it and some modes from 🇺🇸 usa like a bigger turbo and injector nozzles and you will easily get your 500hp out of an old school mechanical injection engine without buying a new tractor that will cost a fortune and still break down as much as an old tractor due to stupid computer controls
That has a mechanical injection pump just like the “ppump” everybody knows and loves!
Argh!🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
super tractor
Love these older tractors, my dad used to own a case international on our farm
She is at her limit. Awesome machine
I'm not quite sure if it's at its limit but surely that persistant engine surging isn't going to do it any good over the longer term ?
Love the older iron, nice work farmer 👍💪🤘
500hp 4955 that’s a good one. That trans can barely hold half that power. Funny the 8430 pulling the same baler in his other vid isn’t surging or smoking. That’s just a nice looking old tractor that someone turned the screw up on. Hope you have an egt gauge.
FANTASTIC SOUND !!!
FANTASTIC JOHN DEER 55 SERIES WITH SG2 CAB AND POWER SHIFT !!!

What the hell is this? Best Video of a 4955er i´ve ever seen!
Feel like a kid every time I hear Bailer an old John Deere
Why does the rpm keep jumping around instead of a nice smooth speed
Because there is an big ass piston in the baler that rams the straw into an bale.
Time for a bigger tractor if your going to bale at that speed. Every time the plunger cycles it bogs down. Good video
You clearly don’t know anything about it😂
Gustav Frendrup enlighten me my friend
That’s what old tractors sound like, when they are being used properly?
Gustav Frendrup really cause my 4230 and 4460 don’t sound anything like that. 😹😹.
Well this tractor is normally used for tractor pulling, there’s been made major upgrades and instead of 200hp stock, it has around 500. Are you pulling a bailer yourself, seems like you have never tried..
Strong tractor, but it's being overworked. You can hear it surging when the plunger is pushing that straw into the bale.
Sounds like the pump is wound up pretty well, the engine might be a bit worked?
500 horses
@@iblarsen1064 where'd the extra 300 hp come from?
@@williamk.7129 Dieselfuel and boost maybe?😁
That sumbuggin whole rig says I'm ready to eat some hay. Great video. 👍👍👍👍
Monster Sound 4955!!!😍😍😍
Old school simplicity and reliability
Why is that tractor surging like that? Anyone know?
Cool vid but too fast. That tractor is going to be trashed at that rate.
How much fuel? ALL OF IT!
Why is the tractor surging like that?
Because he packs the hay really tight and ever time the plunger in the press comes down it needs a lot more power than the rest of the time
Why on earth is he revving the engine like that? Keeping things steady is the way to keeping it at all
I don't think he is. Everytime the packer moves back to tighten the bale it pulls the engine revs down and sends out black smoke.
Tractor don’t have enough power. Plunger is causing that.
I think the baler is too big for the tractor. Is the reason why is surging.
Not one of you know what your talking about the governer on the injection pump will open and close as per load put on it its responsive thats exactly how its supposed too work and sound and it is not straining at all it is hard too read all this ignorant uniformed comments and too stay quiet because the misinformation and lack of knowledge is unbelievable but o well not every body is informed so that’s why i had too correct and explain things cause i am the expert here i own one and i farm and the owner of this tractor also knows his stuff so just quit yapping all of you if you don’t know what the hell your talking about please its hard on the nerves lmao 😂
Well done, many thanks for the video
Do You mind if please I ask the dimension of the tires?
BEAUTIFUL TIRES !!!
That is what you call a slow death.
Dang it!. thats a pure sound who could make me a morning wood!.
That's how you do it in style.
Excellent!
Need bigger engine. Look this engine is goo out tk vacation 😂😂👍
Why the puff of black exhausts ?
Extra fuel for the engine and an heavy plunjer stroke of the baler and voila an nice blackish puff
Why not?
Are you kidding the tractor is having a couple drinks of diesel and smokes a little and you ask why does it smoke ? Some body is having a wiener roast under there what do you think 😅
500hp ha good one it’s a 200hp tractor and it appears your trying too break it. Or wear out the rack on the injection pump🙄
It has got some upgrades, the guy who owns it normally use it for tractor pulling. So don’t worry, it wouldn’t break and yes it has 500+ hp😜
Probably got 500 engine hop but not 500 pto hp every time the the bailer cranks its working the engine.
@@TravisTheDriver Oh man! Why not? Do you think that any turbo in world would be able to spool up in that half second when baler need that great amount of grunt?
@@teppotulppu1603 The main reason for the intermittent rpm drop when the baler squeezes the straw is that in that moment the baler pulls some 250 to 300 hp. When its just picking up it needs maybe 130 hp. That sudden power draw makes it loose some rpms. The newer tractors and engines do not do that to the same extent because a direct injection pump is roughly 3 times faster in reaction time than a VP pump, so a newer tractor can compensate much faster, so you don´t hear the power surge nearly as much. Also, I have learned some more about this specific tractor, and the turbo is "somewhat" larger than stock, so it too needs a hairswidth more time to spool up. So its quite natural. And I love that old girl. Built to work hard, and if people did´nt abuse them with lacking maintenance, poor quality oil in both engine and transmission and whatnot stupid things we have seen over time, they held up pretty good. I have seen several 4955 & 60´s that pumped out over 250 pto hp pulling cutters, 25 ton slurry wagons and and 35 ton potato trains, and has done way over 10000 hours without being opened. I have also seen a couple that did´nt make it to 5000 hours due to poor or virtually no maintenance.
@@torbenalstrup3902 I totally agree with you and tried to tell that.
Only thing i disagree is that 4955 or any +160hp tractor have not ever seen any VP or VE or any other distributor pump. There is bosch inline pump in it like there is allmost in every engine that age and size. For example Deere used inline pump in these bigger models for this millenium until they straight jump to common rail systems.
Main reason why later tractors wont do that so much is newer turbo technic and size, not differences in fuel injection. Of course common rail systems were game changers with thousands of bars injection pressure.
Coal.
Man that thing bales fast!
That old John Deere seems to be struggling even at 210 pto hp. Looks like the tension on that baler is cranked down to really pack those bales tight that’ll make the old girl work. Those krone balers are very well made.
@john mcgee every time the engine revs drop
It’s close to throwing a rod
It is not strugling at all. Baler just need so fast peak torque that there's no turbo that can response and spool up so fast.
From the black smoke I don't think the 49 has stock power
That engine hunting like that would drive me nuts.
That’s not hunting. It’s the plunger dragging the tractor down every stroke it makes.
The big plunger takes some power. The old john deere will be fine. They run for ever. 💪💪
One careful owner!!!!! Old School Rules
Prachtig 😍, zeer sterk
Le moteur souffre mes top qualité
the sound looks like godzilla

BEAST!!!..😂
What brand bale accumulator is that?
Now that is a baler
Che mostro
Good video and john deere
you need better tractor if you wanna make a job
if you had a krone big pack you already have a +350 hp tractor
No matter how big your tires are, your 4955 is too small for that BIG PACK...! The Krone BIG PACK needs a 8100, 8200, or 8300 Series Deere...!
If you look up the specs on the Krone, the 4955 is right at the bare minimum HP required. Wouldn’t be a good tractor for hills but barely adequate for this flat land.
@@duggydo Listen to your tractor on your video it is STRAINING BADLY every time the Krone rams a slice...! Good way to tear up an otherwise nice Intermediate tractor...! But hey, it's not my $$$ that's going to have to fix it...!
William Riley I don’t disagree with you. It’s just technically adequate according to Krone’s specs. It’s kinda like maxing out a half ton pickup’s towing these days. Maybe it’s rated for it, but it sure is a lot better to have a bigger truck when you get to the hills.
I just see someone having fun with his hobby tractor👍
That 4955 makes 500 horsepower
den har 512 hk
wat gaaf🤩🎶🎶super
👏👌👍😎
Hp?
Hello ! ... 240 Horse power 💪
200 hp in PTO
Why is it bogging like that every couple seconds? Could this be avoided at lower speeds? Thinking of getting one of these tractors and wondering about how much load they can take.
She isn't bogging out but insted that is the baler pushing the straw into the bale which is making her work harder and we have a 7810 which has the same engine as the 4955 they do this a lot but, if I was to describe that engine its commitment they don't give in and are extremely torcky as we dynoed our 7710 an she did 1400fpls of torc and that is about the sape as a modern cat challenger
140hp?
Aprox 210hp
Elvijs Svipins Super
Too much baler for that tractor.
looking at the smoke, this tractor have a serious bad problem
