    I have a question, I use the free namecheap website builder. I built my site in desktop view, when I switched to mobile view everything was messed up, so I corrected it. Then I went back into desktop mode and everything got messed up how do I fix this? (How do I make both compatible)

    • @wpcupidblog
      @wpcupidblog  22 дня назад

      Greetings! It's hard to give an exact answer without seeing what all is showing messed up and what they are. You really have to keep playing with it. I would check Global Settings. Ensure that your global settings for margins, paddings, and fonts are consistent across devices. Based on what I've seen from others posting on this and researching this, my recommendation is to click on each element and first try all on width auto, height auto, and allow to adjust size automatically. If this doesn't work I would play with the minimum and maximum to get it to size correctly on desktop and mobile.

    Ok, another question. I've uploaded the files, but my website ain't up yet and this is what it says about SSL:
    "Your SSL is being installed via cPanel SSL auto-installer. Please allow up to 25 mins for SSL installation to complete."
    It's been this way for hours now.

    • @wpcupidblog
      @wpcupidblog  Год назад

      I've included a helpful article that goes in-depth on uploading your site via cPanel and File Manager. The SSL can take up to 48 hours to get implemented but usually happens pretty quickly. Helpful Post: www.namecheap.com/support/knowledgebase/article.aspx/181/27/how-do-i-upload-my-site/

      You’re welcome! Visit your cPanel dashboard and find the item labeled Domains. Your domain will be listed on the page. In the column labeled Force HTTPS Redirect, toggle the control to On for the domain you wish to restrict.

    • @wpcupidblog
      @wpcupidblog  Год назад +1

      You're welcome! I'm using the free version of Elementor. If you go to the Customize page and click header builder you can make changes to the header. Also from the Customize page, you can click the pencil icon in the header and make edits to it. Elementor made some updates recently so starting to roll out new tutorials with the new updates.

    • @wpcupidblog

      From the Namecheap page, you can click the Namecheap logo in the top left area to be taken to the Namecheap home page. From here, you can just search for a domain name and don't have to purchase hosting. You can also click domains in the top menu area and search for a domain name that way.

    • @wpcupidblog
      @wpcupidblog  Год назад

      Once you hit publish it will update immediately. Sometimes your browser will hold on to the stored cache so you may need to clear your cache to see the changes. However, for others viewing your site, the changes will show perfectly.

    This website builder has continued to be the worst, especially with the newer format. Everytime I set up the website on desktop view the mobile view is messed up. So I fix the mobile view, then the desktop view is completely screwed. Ther may be an easy solution but it is impossible to get hold of anyone unless you wait hours through chat and nobody on your end understands any problem i explain to them. I have had nothing but hours of endless frustration with no assistance from Namecheap. I repeat, there is absolutely no way to connect with them for assistance in a reasonable manner.

      You said “This website builder” are you referring to the name cheap free website builder? I use it to create my church’s website and I agree that it is a hassle and the newer format messed up the site where I had to check every element of the page and check alignments and even delete and recreate the contact form. I’m thinking of trying WordPress, because the website builder is difficult to get things just right and easy to mess up.

    oh it is infuriating. the stupid machine says my admin area is not secure and it wont let me access. grrrr. something to do with the ssl i assume? you did say to chnage the to right?

    • @wpcupidblog
      @wpcupidblog  3 месяца назад

      Greetings! Yes, changing the to in WordPress is correct. I recommend clearing your cache and seeing if that fixes it. I would ensure that your SSL certificate is correctly installed on your Namecheap hosting account. When you sign up for a new hosting account it can take some time for the SSL to get setup. This could of been causing this as well.
