Do Nichkhun, Sunny Suwanmethanont & Urassaya Sperbund think that they're the sibling of the year?

When you look at Nichkhun, the first thing that comes to mind is this: he’s a nice guy. We knew at the back of our heads that he had a “beastly” image (that’s what he, along with his fellow 2PM members are known for), but when he walked into the room, he suddenly reminded us very much of the perfect son that our mums used to tell us their friends had.
But we digress. The singer-actor, along with his Brother of the Year co-stars Sunny Suwanmethanont and Urassaya Sperbund (also known as Yaya) and director Vithaya Thongyuyong (also known as Bon) visited Singapore to promote their film, which has been billed as the number one Thai movie of 2018.
The press conference, which was held yesterday at The Fullerton Hotel, was followed by a cosy interview with the cast and director, where they told us a bit more about their respective roles and why they think they are the brother - or in Yaya’s case, sister - of the year to their siblings.
Brother of the Year tells the story of a meddling older brother (played by Sunny) who was expecting to welcome a younger brother, but felt cheated when his younger sibling (played by Yaya) ended up as a girl. With Jane being the over-achiever that she is, and Chut being the not-so-model older brother, the pair butt heads as they grow up (as all siblings do).
When Jane meets the love of her life, Moji (played by Nichkhun), she’s determined not to let Chut interfere, but that doesn’t work out, and the demonic older brother sets out to stick his nose where he thinks it belongs - his baby sister’s relationship. How does that pan out? You’ll have to watch the movie to find out - but Bon shared that he attributes the film’s success to its focus on the relationship between the siblings, which is a first in Thai cinema.
We have to admit, we had to hold back the waterworks towards the end of the movie too.
