    Melati Wijsen is an inspiring figure, thanks to her dedication as an environmental activist since the age of 12 in Bali, Indonesia. She motivates the younger generation to take an active role in creating positive change in the world. Wijsen's positivism and dedication in building intergenerational collaboration is a strong example for anyone who wants to make a sustainable change in the world.

    jasmine wijsen shared a very good experience. I learnt many things from her.
    1. If we want to grow we must always be ready to face various obstacles no matter how complicated they are.
    2. be a person who has a good personality by starting to develop my potential as well as possible.
    3. Children don't grow up wanting to be changemakers. It just happens. There's an injustice and you feel you have no choice but to get involved, because if you don't who'll change it.

    Wijsen not only shares his personal story about how he and his brother took action to tackle the plastic pollution problem in Bali, but also provides practical guidance on how to get started as a changemaker. Wijsen's message reminds us that every individual has the potential to make a positive difference in this world, and that perseverance, leadership and collaboration are the keys to achieving meaningful change. This video is not only motivating, but also provides valuable direction for young people who want to contribute to social and environmental change.

    Inspiring journey! This is a great learning journey for such a young child... she went all the way. Building a team, gathering evidence, creating campaigns, implementing cleanup projects and to enlisting public and politicians support. Love her passion and enthusiasm.

    This video will encourage many children to do positive things like that. Especially in this day and age, most children spend their youth only for temporary pleasures. I really appreciate this pretty girl.

    This message is very useful for young people to bring about real change. And that real change can start from our classrooms, how we can study the real life happening in a certain place and make that change together.

    I agree...a person who wants to develop must always be ready to face various obstacles no matter what they are and as heavy as anything and after watching this video I realized that I have to be a person who has a good personality starting to develop his own potential and starting from the smallest things.

    I agree with this, this is a very interesting community to join. Not only is it beneficial for ourselves but also very beneficial for many people. Melati and Isabel's steps prove that age is not an obstacle to making positive changes in the environment.

    A significant impact can occur if the public makes personal choices to purchase products that are more in line with environmentally friendly practices. Hemp products, selective logging forestry, rotational grazing-based farming, and alternative energy production methods such as geothermal, hydro, and nuclear. Everyone always wants to overcome restrictions and laws that limit damaging practices, but if people spend their money wisely, flawed and unfriendly business practices towards the earth will soon disappear because they do not have the money to sustain them.

    OMG I resonated with what you said. Children don't grow up wanting to be changemakers. It just happens. There's an injustice and you feel you have no choice but to get involved, because if you don't who'll change it. And yes you get burn out. I'm not even a child, I'm in my mid 20s.

    really not sure it's the young people that should be making changes. have you met young people?

    • @khondamirkarshiev162
      @khondamirkarshiev162 2 года назад

      I've met a lot of adults, and I know that they"d rather go complaining about how everything is awful instead of taking action. (whereas most of them are the reason for its happening).
      The way I see it:
      Adults = problem maker
      Youth = problem solver
      (not always of course)

    We need to get ride of capitalism should be on top of that list. Stop selling people nonsense.

      First off of all the solar panels are made of plastic, which will be unusable after 20 years, then they go inside the same ocean everything else end up in. Causing more population. Electric cars which still use fossil fuel to charge batteries. Causing no to less change in carbon emissions.
      You can’t solve this problem when imperialist militaries of capitalist countries fund coops in poor socialist countries (won’t let them develop) and forcing them to capitalize or put another fascist leader there. Look with the case of china after nanking massacre caused the rise of mao, they capitalized to protect themselves from western fascists.
