To put forward an important point, if we accept that Imran Khan was installed by the establishment to begin with and thereafter his form of government was not effective why allow him the opportunity to contest another election? Secondly, if we accept that the message that Imran Khan was propagating was not in favour of the country it would be naive to hand him power again irrespective that the people of Pakistan elected him. His mandate was not based on the protection and progression of Pakistan but the opposite. There is a saying, once bitten twice shy, the establishment has learnt from its mistake and, they are now rectifying it. That's progress.

STS Sb, for normal Armed forces officers, they are bound not to take part in politicts or give any political statement after retirement for 2 years. But this duration is 5 years for all those officers who had been on important & sensitive appointments. Here question is: is there any more important and sensitive appointment than DG ISI, Corps Cdr and COAS??? How could Gen Faiz engage and associate himself with Niazi in handling anti state activities?
Faiz did not share maal e ghaneemat wth Bajwa as per the agreed proportions. Bajwa is ready to forgive him but Hafiz fears that his own DG-ISI will do the same to him if Faiz is forgiven. Don't stir a storm in a cup of tes plz.
