This actually hits home. Years ago I worked for a commercial electrical contractor doing a 2 year project at a college expansion. We had two 10 man crews on site for the 2 years, one lead by myself, the other by a guy named Bob. The jobs went very well, we finished well under budget and time. The company had a profit bonus incentive and 3-4 months after the project the owner came to another job I was working to hand me $5,000 cash in an envelope. Bob and I were good friends, I trained him for 4 years as my apprentice and felt very comfortable recommending to a foreman position prior to the college job. I called him later that day to see if he got his share and he did. $500.00... He did the exact same job I did on the college expansion, he ran a crew of 10 in a separate building, finished under budget and under time just as I had. He wasn't happy as you can imagine and I assumed this was some mistake. I arranged a meeting between myself, bob and the owner, I wanted to see what was going on face to face. Bob and I were told that since this was bob's first foreman's job, he didn't deserve the same cut I received. I said a few choice words to the owner how I thought that wasn't fair and got no response from the owner. I then laid out my 5k on his desk and counted out $2250 and handed it to Bob. I lasted about 4 more weeks before I found a better employer to work for, Bob left a month after I did. The company went under 2 years later after a series of accidents including the death of an undertrained electrician who was electrocuted on a job and then a few months later a vacationer to a beach boardwalk that company installed lights on was electrocuted and killed by improperly grounded pole light when he leaned on it.
You are very ungrateful. Just take the money out of taxes that was given to you willingly by a rich person. Say thank you and move on. You are really a bad person if this story is true, but probably a good contractor and electrician.

Or Alan walks in and rowan no longer working there, and Alan finding out he finally gets promoted to Rowan's spot just to find out Rowan is the district manager.
just look at what's happening to gamestop, same thing lol
We need a skit where PlayTech HQ's accounting department audits Rowan's locations.
Adam: They had us in the first half, not gonna lie
Thanks for sharing that story. It really sucks this has become more of the norm, but giving people a heads up is appreciated.
You Yanks and your fucking full stop as decimal separator. I thought that Bob got 500k $
Thanks for the share. Safety first...
I love this random stories on youtube.
You are very ungrateful. Just take the money out of taxes that was given to you willingly by a rich person. Say thank you and move on. You are really a bad person if this story is true, but probably a good contractor and electrician.
You guys should have a Netflix show like this...would be a great comedy/drama
Heaven Forbid. If Hollyweird or Azon or Netflix gets them it will destroy the show.
@@mindofmadness5593 you may be right!
I 2nd that!
@@mindofmadness5593 It worked for Aunty Donna
@@cthulhuz0 This is true actually, I never knew of those guys until Netflix and I actually, surprisingly enjoyed their show despite the low brow humor, I think it could be done :)
Love how they reference Ellie not having been in any episodes 😂
Okay, this was a hard one for me to watch. My sympathies, Alan.
I hear you. My boss won´t give us any christmas bonuses also :( I work in (gaming) shop too..
I had a boss who gave all the teachers at the private school we worked at Poinsettias at Christmas...mostly because a pupils mom arranged to pay partial with them to her. I suck at keeping flowers alive, and really needed that money.
Alan, you need to get that legendary white shirt back!
I thinks so too
The moment you realize Rowan's known exactly what he's doing all along.
gak tau lagi udah kali keberapa menang di *SL00T K1NG69*, bikin susah move on
No wonder Alan really wanted to beat Rowan. I really like that Alan story arc
Aaaaye Ellie is still here after all.
Why did I get emotional over that exchange at the start 😂 That's when you know you've fallen too deep into the lore. 😂
Same here bro... 😪
I went "aaaw" and put my hands over my heart when I thought he was giving Alan a real $20,000. Then I went GRRRRRR when I realized it was fake money.
brilliant he turns off the light to leave him in the dark like a slap on top of the insult... just brilliant
Alan gets the last laugh when he finds a haunted arcade game ..no worries guys
Rowan told Alan "don't fucking cross me". He remembered episode 51.
Ellie's come back !
Yeah
It's really funny and sad at the same time because we all know there are bosses like Rowan out there in real life.
“...You don’t count your money, when you’re sitting at the table...” good advice.
I was one of almost 1000 people at Fort Irwin working for Dyncorp in the 90s supporting the Army. We all got a Christmas bonus: $10 gift certificate for a Butterball turkey. When me and a colleague saved two pilots and a Cobra hellecopter from fiery death, they gave us a $25 check, EACH! Later, I worked for a Chinese company in Shenzhen, received bonuses up to 4months salary. Not to mention another 1/2mo bonus to 80,000 employees just because the company was doing well.
at that point if a boss disrespected me like that and the job doesnt pay much, i would've just slammed the money down and quit
Oi! Nice day for christmas bonusses, ain't it?
Huhah!
:D
Rowan's acting is so good, I think I hate him now 😂
I swear I was expecting the White Shirt to be shining in the corner after Rowan left the room 😂!
Alan’s behavior during the white shirt arc is understandable.
How has Allan stayed in that company for 5 YEARS is beyond me.
I cant believe I'm just watching all these videos. I really have been missing out. You guys are the best! All of you are such good actors and Rowan you scared the hell outa me at the end brother. I almost began trembling. Cant wait to continue binge watching all your vids.
When is rowan ever going to get his comeuppance 😂
Once Rodney returns
At this stage I feel like they’ve forgotten he even exists
Yeah, I feel he got shortchanged on his bonus this season. Managers should be getting more, especially someone as caring and hard-working as Rowan
"do you like it?" hahahahahha
Adam in this series is so sweet and innocent and precious. The world doesn't deserve him.
"No, of course not, it hurts my tum-tum." 🤣 Rowan is so fing evil! 😈
2018 was a hard year 😂
Rowan wait till you get to the future
Doesn't mean 2018 is still not hard lol
Yeah i guess 😂 but 2020 I would say is still takes the cake
Rowan: 2018 has been a tough year for us
Me: Hello from the future...
This is the most heartbreaking episode 😰😭
Well well well look how the turntables... Rowan should've been grateful that he had an employee like Alan and now he regrets his actions!!
2:52 : That moment was heartbreaking to watch …. all that pain expressed in one noise . Such great acting !
I was expecting them, or at least Alan, to be paid in compliments 😂
Damn rowan has been really dark lately you’d almost think he’s secretly wearing the white shirt
That’s one of the moments when I hate Rowan sooooooo much
these older episodes are pure gem
No one else liked the "Alan. Alan, Alan, Alan. Obviously you were here too." line? Well delivered :D
Man I don't know how to feel. I almost thought Rowan was going to be nice and I was like "hell no that can't happen that's not Rowan". But then I was happy for Alan until Rowan showed his true colors. And then I was like "oh hell no" again. You got me good on this one guys
Omg Ellie is back, Santa answered my Christmas wish
Poor Alan. BUT ELLIE IS BACK!
The more i watch the more i realize that punch was overdue.
If I ever had a boss like that I would beat him into a fuckin coma, but I know these guys are just fuckin around for laughs
3:37 Damn, that glare had me.
Man, if I ever met Rowan I don’t think I could stop myself from punching him in the face
I know what you mean, I'd be like, "I know it's just a skit but, dangit, I'm gonna have to punch you for the way you treat Alan"
Aim at the balls, then go for the neck
Rowan be like: I'm gonna end this man's career.
Literally
In that moment, in Allans shoes, out of seething anger i would imagine every kind of physical and mental torture upon Rowan. When he says "d'you like et?" 😂😂😂it boils my blood!!!
Rowan looked like he wanted to kiss him at the end lmao
Well holy shit! There has been such a long build up to this, and now we get the big reveal! Rowan intentionally planned all the crap that's happened to Alan all this time because of the white shirt incident. "Don't ever fucking cross me" ... goddamn, that was epic!
It's the same wording Alan used when beating Rowan, too, so yeah, definitely connected.
for a moment i thought that Alan would get the cheek kiss he always wanted.
White Shirt! White Shirt! White Shirt! White Shirt! White Shirt! White Shirt! White Shirt!
That envelope and contents would be carried straight to whichever agency would swiftly inflict the most pain on Rowan.😂
That's Something That Would Make Me Destroy My Boss Life For Good...
enough is enough. there needs to be reprocations. Please at least once.
The pain in the "Ahhhh" when he opens the envelope... damn.
for the first time i liked rowan's character.
to everybody out there blaming him: he gave alan the 20,000 dollars from his own bonus of 30,000 dollars;
alan actually got just 20 dollars
He didn't even get that 20 dollars. Rowan told that 20 dollars slipped from his bonus and took it back.
@@samarendra109 HE actually exchanged the 20 for 20k ; He didn't want alan to think he was getting a donation
@@nikhilsultania170 No! Read the subtitles.
@@samarendra109 The only thing that i noticed was that alan's 20$ notes were gray. Were they fake?
I don't know cause i don't live in the new zealand.
Just guessing
@@nikhilsultania170 That's what I was thinking too. It was gray so it might have been fake money.
That hits hard bro, I would actually be very okay with this turning out good/happyending
"This moment. This is when the murder happens." - What's going through my head as rowan sniffs the one bill he took back lmfao
I’m also happy to see that Canada isn’t the only place that uses Monopoly money ;)
I 100% was like, did he pay them in Canadian? for a second there
WOOHOO Canada!
It's really a miracle why Alan hasn't quit job.
Like rage quitting, destroying the store or taking thousands of dollars worth of stuff.
how did it take 5 years after this for him alan to finally quit
Hey look, Ellie. Haven't seen her for like 40 episodes 🤣.
Shouldn't of tried to trick him with that cookie
This one had sniff, taste, and “don’t you ever f-ing cross me.” I love these intimate moments between men.
