Perfect timing ... avoiding distracting working separating out obsessing about making sure every single moment of my day is maximised in terms of output efficiency, are all tools I continue to use to not feel, as I am now enjoying ‘normal’ energy levels.
As I begin to feel into my body and emotions now though, I can begin the feel the pain and the isolation as I retraumatise myself by using these patterns daily and hourly.
Sad as it might be at first, I think this pain that I am now feeling will eventually save me from running these socially isolating patterns that I have learned to use to cope, to help me numb the pain.
Thank you Lauren and Alex for this beautiful episode which is really helping support me in my recovery journey from my achiever addiction patterns.
    🙏🤍🙏

In therapy session are must to follow in parallel with the Reset program. It has been helping me a lot after 12 years of CFS suffering.

This was such a great video! I can really relate to those hard-driving patterns that want to sneak back in, when given the least opportunity of an ounce of energy return! Great awareness, Lauren, and I appreciate your courage and transparency. Alex, your input was truly valuable and thought-provoking. Thank you both.

Thanks for these videos, they are so valuable to me in seeing the signs in others and relating but also the inspiration it gives. Looking from the outside the level of achiever pattern in Lauren is still frighteningly high.

Avoid and distract...breaking the habit is like pulling wallpaper off a wall. But it’s doable and successful breakthroughs during the day sure feel good! Thanks to both of you!💕

Lauren should be so very proud of herself. I love what Alex said " A whole new discovery". It seems Lauren is on a very good path, slowly and gently rediscovering what is important in life and being kind to herself,as she is healing from a very challenging health issue of CFS. I think on bad days we just have to protect our progress we have already made and honour ourselves( and our potential) for taking this journey with our relationship to a healthier self. A very insightful therapy session, thank-you Lauren for your honesty and vulnerability as so many of us have suffered with CFS( and its is bloody difficult). I think we all can find hope and encouragement with these very wonderful in-therapy sessions with Alex and Lauren.

Really enjoyed watching this as lots resonate so thank you both. As there is a limit to the energy available how do you successfully bounce the boundaries? Every time I try to even gently and slowly, at some point I have a mini crash as I use up the energy I have.

How I identify! One mindset that I am trying to adopt is that some days it really is enough to just just show up on this planet as me! 😆

I'm paying £11.99 pcm for RUclips and watch it ad free, but when I watch anything on my partners account he has the ads - it's really distracting isn't it.
