Great to see a new video from you, Mark! I've never clicked a notification faster to watch a video than I did for this one. As one of you early followers here (2007), as well as with the Sharpologist site, you've helped so many guys (and ladies, as my wife is now a dedicated traditional wet leg shaver), add the long lost art of traditional shaving back into their daily and/or weekly routines. My routines have changed drastically over the course of almost 14 years, but the one piece that has been constant in my routine, is traditional shaving. I've moved this one around a bit in terms of time of day that I shave, but it's hasn't left my daily routine, since late 2007, early 2008. I have since moved my shaving routine permanently to the evening, partially because I'm an insomniac, and stay up late, giving me more time without interruption, but also because I like to take my time and really enjoy the experience from start to finish. My shaves usually take 45 mins to an hour, and like you've said multiple times in your videos, the shave I get from traditional wet shaving is so good, that I don't need to shave again in the morning. Thanks again, Mark! Looking forward to future content from the Sharpologist!!
Thank you very much for this fabulous update. Can we get an update video for how to shave the neck without irritation? I'm in love with your channel and website. Have a great day.
I just purchased the wholy grail shave bowl by SV I really like a lot 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 And FYI those little holes in wood that make nice swirl are also perfect size for soap quality.. I’m really impressed with Saponificio Varesino and I had to order their 26mm brush as well it’s outstanding next to my paladins.. You have to try Arctica Thundra by SV amazing soap and performance it blew me away.. Alan H
@@shavetutor Absolutely right 100% I tested many Bowls and apprecite Different artisans and their design.. Saponificio Varesino is something else truly if we step back and look clearly how it’s been created and thaught behind it everything falls in place… I like bowl it’s just perfect size for quantity of soap and holding it in hand it feels nice and comfortable.. Can’t wait to try my SV brush that I ordered it’s 26mm I like the wooden handle and pewter crown give nice balance.. Thanks for reply and learn everyday something new at least I try my Best👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Alan H
Nice updated vid! That Saponificio Varesino bowl look's pretty nice. Also, didn't know you had a Pereira bowl? I've heard a lot of people like those. 😁👍🏼

Yes, I think the grail bowl works really well, and it's easier on my hand then regular handles.

I haven't used the Pereira bowl much, I need to use it more now that the weather is getting cooler and I want a warmer lather. :)
@@shavetutor awesome! 😁👍🏼
First and a good review!
Thank you sir!!😊😊👌👌👌🙏🙏🙏
Fantastic video Mark! ;) Have a good day, take care and stay safe my friend! :) #Heart
Woo hoo!!!!
Synthetics doesn’t hold water as much as the sliver tips, great for those who are vegans or have allergies with animal hair.
I think the newest generation of synthetics are very close to the good silvertip badger hair brushes now.
