Gosh we spoil our fur babies.
I have an automatic litterbox of another brand, and it has been such a great purchase. It is a lot of money upfront, but if your cat uses it... it really cuts down on smell. Of course, they always advertise like people would let these get filled for a month, but I still change my cats litterbox twice a week and I just have 1. He uses the automatic litterbox solely, despite having access to a traditional litterbox upstairs. My automatic litterbox is very large, it is about the size of an ottoman! It also has the same issue with the litter, it leaves small clumps behind but I have little to no litter go into the box, and it lasts a very long time. If anyone is on the fence about an automatic litterbox, it really has been a help for us. Definitely make sure you're purchasing from a reputable brand, with trusted reviews and works in a way that you feel comfortable. The brand I purchased is a Popur and it is not enclosed.
I am looking forward to testing the open concept I have yet to review. I think MayDay will like it better. And yes, they are not 100% perfect but they do make a huge difference.
That is one pricey litterbox for $700.00.
I don't use cat boxes like that . Some people's cats have gotten trapped and died in manual self cleaning cat boxs. 😢
This liter box is designed to be in lock mode for 15+ min after the cat is gone before it goes into clean mode. It will not go into cleaning otherwise, it is designed that way to ensure the cat is nowhere near the box when the cleaning goes on.

Thanks for the review. I am anxious to see the next one that is open concept tho coz my cat is pretty big. Even the open kind may not be a fit for him coz he pees standing instead of squatting and more or less sprays up. My husband had to attach a shield on his litter box to keep him from peeing on the wall. I would love to find one that will work with him tho..🙂😘❤

My cat weighs 14 1/2 lbs and hates this type of litter box maybe because he’s so big but He used the iRobot one time and has never used it again (over a year now).
I think some cats like to go in but then they get spooked once they see it moves and makes noise afterwards. I know that MayDay rarely uses the one upstairs it s all severine several times a day. We ll see with this one. I like the design and concept but it is a bit noisier.

Hi Sophia, I cover my litterbox. With an end table, i had a end table big enough. I cut the back wall wood out and my cat walks into the back of the table. Put it anywhere you want without seeing the box inside. Really cool. 😊 Try to get an idea for your cover.❤

@@mygreatchallenge I guess I should explain. My grandma ( dearly loved her) was the original cat lady. I once counted the cats; 25 outside and four in the house. However, the box wasn't cleaned appropriately so WooYoo yuck. Then one of my children was allergic to cats so the decision was made. I have a few cats that would come to visit for a few in the house then they wanted out.
