Vicious cycles of poverty, lack of the right skills, and financial assistance for income generation continue to pose huge barriers for people in low-income households from reaching their fullest potential.
At SEESHA, we have been supporting disadvantaged but deserving youth & women with scholarships and livelihood assistance to encourage them to pursue their education and gainful employment.
At a special meeting held at the Vanagaram-Chennai Campus this month, the SEESHA team gifted sewing machines to three disadvantaged women as livelihood support to empower them financially. During the event, a student from a financially deprived background was also provided a scholarship of Rs. 16,500/- to pursue his U.G. course.
Bro. Samuel Dhinakaran, Sis. Stella Ramola, and Bro. Daniel Davidson presented the welfare assistance to the beneficiaries.
