- New recovery recruit Ashley is called out to recover a Mercedes whose driver has been arrested. As it may contain evidence, the car must be carefully transported back to CMG’s secure facility to be searched by police officers. Back at the pound, a man is trying to reclaim a black BMW seized for no insurance and cloned plates. Unless he finds legal plates to attach to the vehicle, he won’t be able to take it - and can’t quite manage to get his story straight about the illegal plates he was caught with. Lee picks up a vehicle on a residential street pulled by police in a suspected theft case.

Seems like such a waste to crush the cars. Some of them appear to be good enough to go to auction.
That is just crazy policy! Driving without insurance or repo yes, I agree with.. illegal parking etc should just be a ticket and searching cars without reason is just wrong. I passed out in my car once and it was impounded but I was not under any influence of anything above limits but car was impounded. Had to have title, proof of insurance and pay impound fee. I had smashed car into something on way home before passing out(it was a medical condition that caused this) got car driving home and steering was messed up. Also, I had a pipe in plain view on passenger seat. It was still there when I left impound and no charges were filed at all. God bless the U.S. or at least where I am at..
So you drove a car that was potentially dangerous to drive and could have caused injury to you and other road users.
You admit to having a pipe that you probably use to smoke controlled substances so that means you drive under the influence.
You should have gone to jail and the laws are different in different countries if the police suspect suspicious activity they're allowed to search a vehicle because they have probable cause.
