Hey man great video. Do you happen to know how to make the robot remote controlled? I have both the first hackpack and the second but I do not know how to hookup the IR sensor to my robot. If you can help please do thank you and keep up the good work
I saw the challenge and thought it was a neat idea but didn't make a video because CrunchLabs provides code to make that work on their IDE linked below. It looks like you'd have to connect data to pin 3. Were you asking about code or wiring? www.crunchlabs.com/products/domino-robot
@@That1fingerboardguy I had a look at both my IR turret and domino robot which are both stock now. The IR Turret has red power, black ground, and purple data cable connected to pin D9 and their all on one 3 pin connection. On the domino robot pin D9 is used for motors so the provided IR code is setup to use pin D3 so yes you'll have to break out the wires since there is no power and ground next to D3. I hope these images help. I didn't want to remove parts and update code because my kids still play with them. Wiring: imgur.com/a/bTrQD8F The IR antenna thing ends with a female dupont connection so you'll need a male to male dupont wire for power, ground, and data. I have been peeling and using these dupont wires since (Amazon says) 2021 which has male to male wires. 120 wires for $6 on Oct Prime Day seems to be a good deal too.
