In 2024, our officers and staff responded to an incredible 54,116 calls for service, made 2,110 arrests, and conducted 10,648 traffic stops. Our focus on traffic safety led to 211 DUI arrests and the investigation of 1,275 crashes, including 7 fatalities.
Motor Vehicle theft is on the decline! In 2024, Northglenn residents reported 238 stolen vehicles… down from 318 in 2023. That’s a 25% decrease!
In addition, from 2023 to 2024, crimes against persons decreased 2.4% and property crimes decreased 15.1%
Our Crisis Response Unit provided critical support with 5,740 services delivered and 92 encampments visited, helping some of our most vulnerable residents. Meanwhile, our Victim Services Unit offered compassion and care to 1,109 victims, touching the lives of over 4,320 individuals.
In 2024, we proudly welcomed 9 sworn officers and 6 civilian employees to our team, enhancing our ability to serve the Northglenn community.
This year also marked the launch of our online crime reporting system, making it easier than ever for residents to report non-emergency incidents.
We’re grateful for the partnership and support of our community in 2024.
Together, we’ve built a safer, stronger Northglenn. Here’s to continued success in 2025!
