Whole Foods is such a nice store to visit and purchase from. I enjoy going to one whenever I can because it covers both meat and non meat eaters.

Never been to a wholefoods. Obviously the American shopping seemed a lot bigger in quantity but I was surprised the English haul was dearer. Great comparison haul again xx

Ezekiel bread is my go-to. I grew up with it, so it’s nostalgic, as well. I love it for baked tofu sandwiches and avocado toast. I like to use the English muffins for burger buns. They also make a cereal which is much healthier than other brands; full of protein, fibre, whole grains and legumes. As a Christian, it’s an added delight that the recipe comes from the Bible!

Love the whole food store look at the colours, why aren't all food stores look so good being a person on your own is good to see it loose , thought of you other day at asda they had a t/shirt that had beansssss on the front ha ha , just look at all that pizza , go on treat your self mix it , go on put the sauce in your basket , why not make a pasta sauce see if its as good of a bought one but cheaper , xxx 👏👊👍

That is because they bought more store brand items in the US. So those are going to be much cheaper. The only way to truly compare is to buy the exact same brands and items.
When you do comparison videos or weekly shop videos, I'd love to see you include 1 specialty item, something you can only get in the US and only in the UK, or for weekly shops, 1 budget treat item as you did here, as budgeting doesn't equal no treats allowed😊
If you're budgetting you're likely not getting organic as the price increase is often a lot, but if you're budgetting you can likely still get a £1 chocolate bar or snack for your kids😊

What is the prime thing please? Also can you just do a Trader Joe's shop. Please. It's my fave shop in the world 😂. I know its owned by Aldi. Wish we had a uk TJ's.

Not watched in bit as i had come around to fact i will not walk un aided again. So i been learning to get used my wheelchair and transferring to bed and in bathroom. So when go home all haa be adapted then i can go home with wife and kids. Whole foods loooks good. I bought own wheelchair that purple wheels. 💜 love purple . My walker is purple too . Jo jo and beans lol
Those beans were all Mexican variations because it was in the Mexican section with tacos, tortillas, etc. Baked beans in tins are down another aisle.
The pasta in the blue bag that you pointed out in the beginning had the same price
you guys could have done taste test on the snacks you buy and give your rating out of 10.
$1.29 for a tiny packet of organic pasta is incredibly expensive, I pay less than that for a kilo of organic pasta (from Italy) in Lidl

Also, important to note, you bought a lot more 365 WH branded in the U.S. haul but it looks like U.K. location has more big branded items and not the 365 WH stuff. That makes a big difference. The store brand stuff is far cheaper.

A WHOLE FOODS in the U.K. nice. What other stores similar do we have there or is it in a different name. The packages are small but ok.
English cucumbers are what we call Telegraph cucumbers, nothing to do with origin. The usual cucumbers they sell are what we term Lebanese. Some of the items you bought looked a different size merely because of the shape of the packaging. It might pay to note weights another time? Thanks for doing this series, though - it is interesting! xx

I think maybe that’s a gluten free thing the rule of gluten free is if it says gluten free you are obliged to buy it and try it 😂
I will say I’m disappointed at the lack of BEAN shouting in the UK wholefoods 😂 But looking at this I think I’d love to do a zero budget shop in wholefoods 😂

Hey April, thanks for your question. We're not actually sure if Whole Foods UK is owned by Amazon. We would think it is a worldwide thing, but they didn't have the Amazon Prime discounts in the UK store.
However they have Amazon Fresh grocery stores here, so maybe they didn't want to compete with that 😊
bob pasta is all 500g hun rember at sainsburys started sellign tonys chockolate i always try new things not there now but i realy didnt like tony chock and also cadbury brought out the popping candy milk chockolate and i hated that one lolo i love just nice swiss milk chock like cadburys

I'm vegetarian live in South Wales uk and I did my shopping at waitrose I did it for 2 homes mine and my godmother she 90 cost me 135 and that was with delivery so why not try in they for a shop

English cucumbers are not imported, it's a type of cucumber.
The more 'polished' the food looks, the more you're going to pay for it. Whole Foods is a 'boutique' grocery store for those that believe there's value in things with wax, polish and pretty colors on the stuff they're buying. Basically supported by simps, prigs and snobs with more money than sense. Look at all of the packaging - its all perfect and pretty, stacked and stocked in the most pleasing ways. Same with the produce - washed, waxed, polished and displayed under special lighting to make it look more appealing. You can't taste presentation... But, to each their own...
Hint: Only buy grape or Roma tomatoes in a grocery store. They are naturally 'tough' enough to survive machine picking / industrial handling and packaging. Other tomatoes in groceries are genetically engineered to withstand machine harvesting an packaging without bruising and in turn are tough and flavorless. For properly acceptable tomatoes you need to seek out recommended vegetable specialty stores or roadside vendors/farmer's markets.
You do you but I grew up on a farm and will probably never waste money on 'organic' foods. What you 'gain' here you lose there. I'm 69 and still healthy.
Also consider that, at least in the U.S., product manufacturers pay for product placement in stores. In other words they pay to have their products placed on the eye-level shelves, not next to competitors, etc. Also, always shop from the perimeter, the closer you move to the center of a grocery store the worse the food is for you.
american whole foods is so much cheaper than the uk. it's because in the uk they didn't change their prices so something that costs $4.99 in the US costs £4.99 in the UK. It's appalling they were allowed to do this. Perhaps it's similar now because of the weak pound but it was strong 20 years ago and they did this. the government shouldn't allow it.
