Exhaust repair on the Boosted Miata

- The mid-pipe broke at the catalytic converter so I had it welded and reinstalled on the boosted Miata. It's a simple exhaust repair, but it took way more time than I expected. Fun times!

Nice video Sean! But.. why didn't you drove your Miata to the exhaust shop? Just to enjoy the sound of your car with a open downpipe? ;-)
MiataMods lol! I had enough of that noise after driving with the broken pipe for over an hour :( I pulled it off because cheaper and quicker to fix.
How is you hand doing btw? I see you are still wearing that brace?
MiataMods it's much better.Thank you. Brace is off, now I have to start lifting weights again and get my arm strength back. :)

hey just wondering have you got a bracing for your turbo manifold ive recently developed a crack. have you added anymore support ie on the downpipe?
I do have bracing that attaches downpipe to the trans. I also made a brace to support the turbo against the block, but haven't installed it yet. What manifold do you have?
my ebay cat back broke this week after 2 hours of driving... my luck was that the catback was a gift i didnt buyit... so I have in my home a dynomax muffler in my house get it to the muffler shop and fixed for 35 dollars... not bad obama
julio gonzalez that sucks! 2 hours? I guess I shouldn't complain since I got 2 years before my midpipe broke.
