David has done so much for charity... swimming the Thames, swimming the Channel, swimming the strait of Gibraltar, cycling, climbing in the Lake District... to him he always believes he can do more for charity and I admire him so much. The only reason why I'm crying is because my Mum is cutting onions in the kitchen. I promise...
David has never forgotten there are many less fortunate than he and for that I admire him greatly. He's probably one of the funniest comedians I've ever seen except for Robin Williams. I 'd have loved to see the two of them together. It would have been a riot. Poor Philip is so lucky to have met him and I honestly think that if David had been able to just pick him up and carry him home, he would have done so in a heartbeat, but he's done the next best thing in making sure Philip's life is much better. When he held out his arms to Philip it broke my heart because you could see how much just a hug from an adult meant to him. Then to see him again saying thank you to David, I was so happy for him but, like David, I couldn't help but cry for this beautiful little boy and there are so many like him. David, you're my hero!

Most importantly how when people really try, something can be done about the suffering in this world, and must be done. I know we cant get miserable about these things, and lose hope, we need the strength of positivity to achieve something - so thank you and well done for your swim! absolute inspiration.
