I wouldn't consider either a caliphate tbh. I do think having both were great for the Muslims and I would support them if they were still around. Just in terms of their leadership I personally don't consider them caliphates.

Dr. Israr may Allah (سبحانه وتعالى ) have mercy on him, explained this point well. He says that in order to work and call for Islam, you have to first implement Islam on yourself and on your family. And we know this was the tradition of our profit Mohammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم)
by strengthening your deen first! You cant work on the khilafah if more than half of your population is only a Ramadhan Muslim. The key to a khilafah is TAUHID AND TAKWA. If you dont have that then no matter what system you built it will fall from within! Do you have a zuhud, alim and takwa leaders in your country? If no then no point of doing anything yet.
@wewenang5167 Khilafah is a collective duty. When a sufficient number have knowledge, belief, taqwa, they work on the obligations even if some individuals are lacking or lagging behind. I heard those teachers who claim they will work on Tauhid for 50 years, and then teach salaat. They are the Madkhili followers who are intentionally sabotaged by misdirection & delay while the monarchies steal vast fortunes and erect ruthless tyrannies
Whoever works to re establish khilafah male or female has the love of Allah (swt) and His messenger wether the state would be re established today or tomorrow that's not in our hands at all and we should not seat down and discourage those who work for the resumption of the Islamic way of life!
Salam shaykh. Great reminder. Although i have a comment to make. I understand that Loving Allah is prereq for seeing change. Once this is achieved however, it is not possible for everything to just fall in place by itself without any effort on the part of the Muslim. In other words, after Loving Allah, the Muslim still needs to make a conscious and deliberate effort to create change in society. This is really important to emphasize which you did not in this video. Nothing gets done without action and The proof for this is the Seerah of the Prophet (pbuh). Now what does this action look like? Well i would have to imagine the Seerah is best place to find that answer. My advice is to create an organization of Muslims who Love Allah, and then work together to create change based on the Prophetic method. JazakAllah khair
Dear sheikh, may Allah swt reward you with the best and bless you. You are absolutely right with the point of the love for Allah swt. Then you talk about the „critics“ who always ask „how will you do this and that…“ as far as I know, the founder of Hizb ut Tahrir, Sheikh Taqiuddin Nabhani had all these things figured out and written in his books. I read some of his books and I am absolutely amazed by the details he provides for the Islamic systems and the khilafah. He or any of the other shuyukh of the hizb even wrote a draft constitution of the khilafah state. I can highly recommend these literatures for everyone who loves Allah swt and thrives for the reimplementation of his swt. Ahkam on this Dunya. Barak allahu feekum
Another point is that Hizb ut Tahrir did not leave out any part of Islam. HT covered the political sphere, the intellectual sphere and also most importantly the spiritual sphere with the book Nafsiyah ( what Dr. Shadee is talking about )
And no doubt Imam Taqiddin Nabhani is a gem of the 21st century. He amazes me every single time i think about how one man can go in so much detail about every aspect off Islam in this day and age, he is truly a Mujadid of our times. The way he revived Islam and gave it to us in a plate prepared
Yes. Prophet Muhammed (saw) and his armies conquered from Spain to Persia with a few horses and a few tribesmen in a few years. They ONLY had love for Allah teala. An influencial and determined man who can convince enough Arab states of change is what we need; and alhamdulillah we will have it, as foretold by hadith
Love of Allah, after attaining Belief, after attaining knowledge. The expansion of Islamic rule to Spain was a response to the Roman empire's initiation of war against the Prophet (saws) by murdering his emissary
Is this part of a longer lecture? Otherwise it leaves more questions than answers . What is meant by loving Allah? Is this love concentrated in a specific section of the Ummah or does it encompass the whole Ummah? How does this translate to authority? Where does political thinking and strategy fit into loving Allah - is it part of it or is there a dichotomy between them?
قُلْ إِن كُنتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ ٱللَّهَ فَٱتَّبِعُونِى يُحْبِبْكُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ ٣١ {Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “If you ˹sincerely˺ love Allah, then follow me; Allah will love you and forgive your sins. For Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”} 3:31
The sheik mentioned this also. It is to make the intention to fulfill your obligations towards Allah and if you fall and sin, to repent immediately. Like it says in a hadith Qudsi On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Allah (mighty and sublime be He) said: Whosoever shows enmity to someone devoted to Me, I shall be at war with him. My servant draws not near to Me with anything more loved by Me than the religious duties I have enjoined upon him, and My servant continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory works so that I shall love him. When I love him I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask [something] of Me, I would surely give it to him, and were he to ask Me for refuge, I would surely grant him it. I do not hesitate about anything as much as I hesitate about [seizing] the soul of My faithful servant: he hates death and I hate hurting him. It was related by al-Bukhari. Start with love of those who love Allah and the fard, then nawafil.. keep going and Allah will grant an opening insha'Allah
Jazakallahu khayran for this video. I would like to know more what we can practically do to achieve this goal. Because yes our hearts have to be devoted to Allah and that's true. But does it mean in practical steps. And when we just pray and do dhikr it will not change a lot. We need to fulfill alla requirements but how?
I'm amazed how commited the Amish are to their own religion that they have sacrificed everything this modern world has to offer. What have we muslims sacrificed for Islam in comparison? A can of coke?
@@umeriqbal8269you will find that the Amish adopt in creative ways. They often take jobs building farmhouses and barns. They hire a non Amish truck driver to drive their truck hauling the wood and lumber needed for the build. They are forbidden from using electricity. Hence all their powertools are pneumatic. Air operated. The air compressor is attached to the truck thats operated by that non Amish staff member. They dont reject things. They adopt.
Fundamentally we are all part of a big puzzle, in which we are the pieces. Hearing out and listening to different perspectives will In Sha Allah result in a positive, and slowly result in the completion of the puzzle. Pointing fingers won't, in my humble opinion.
how do we know we have fulfilled the condition to have a khilafah? Do we withhold working for khilafah until we fulfil this condition? Or do we work with khilfah and at the same time ensure we are working on this pre-requisite?
Brother prayer, fasting, Hajj and Zakat ( according to the means ), taking care of family, seeking rizq, gaining knowledge, enjoining the good and forbidding the evil, establishment of Khilafah etc. all come under the category of Fard. Now my question is can we pick and choose in matters of Fard ? Can we say that my prayer is not perfect therefore my iman is weak so I will not fast because I fear that I will commit a grave sin during the fast i.e the khushu of my prayer is not optimal so i will not start fasting until my khushu in prayer is optimal ? The answer is No, we cannot pick and choose in the matters of Fard. Therefore we must manage all Faraiz ( obligations ) during our lifetime to the best of our ability, whatever our level of Iman or Taqwa may be. The road to paradise is not easy, Muslims have alot of responsibilities. And my last point is that some Fard are done individually and some require a collective effort such as accounting the rulers, enjoining the good and forbidding the evil and the establishment of Khilafah. So for those Faraiz (obligations) that require a collective effort an individual is obliged to be part of a Islamic group/party. Just look at what our Prophet (pbuh) did, although he was the best Dawah carrier to be witnessed by humanity he still did not establiish the Deen alone rather he built a group/party of the Sahaba that struggled politically, intellectually and spiritually
Salam. Jzk for your efforts Sheikh. I was wondering, wouldn't this put the Muslims in an infinite loop? How would someone know when they love Allah enough to start working for Khilafah as per the Sunnah (establishing public opinion and seeking Nussrah)? Should they wait for others to love Allah to that same level or start working on the practical steps before that? How would they know that others have reached that point or not? What's the daleel to delay this (Khilafah) or any other farz for an arbitrary landmark to be reached?
You have to fix the heart in order for the entire body to become healthy... If the heart is sick the body will not flourish... I.e in order to establish the Caliphate once again the hearts of the Muslims must be healed and united 1st. Dhikrullah and Tazkiya should be the main focus of every Muslim first, you can spend your entire life only preaching to bring back the Caliphate, but if the people don't want it, don't keep the sharia, follow Islam,...etc it will only fall once again... The body can not stand when the disease in the heart is not purified and healed. If dawah of true Islam, Love for Allah Subhana wa taala and His Nabi Salallahu Alahi wa salim is instilled in the hearts of the people then the Caliphate will come naturally.
Interesting perspective. Jazakallah khair. Would you say all almost 2 billion Muslims need to have this precondition before speaking/working for reestablishment of khilafah?
Nope. Look back at history, everytime it was a few unshakable Muslims that did not give up no matter what happened and how many died. Once they were succesful, the majority followed
@@fahadus I would agree with this sentiment. Even in Muhammad SAW time, all of medinah was not on board with Islam. It was the tribes, Aws and Khazraj that gave Nusrah (support) to Prophet Muhammad SAW, whereafter he and many of the companions from Makkah migrated to Medinah. The Islamic state was established there and then expanded to all the Arabian peninsula, and across the earth, through material struggle.

A very good video to reflect the yearnings of the Ummah, thank you for efforts Shaykh. However, as per the Qa'idah...'that which is necessary to fulfill an obligation in itself becomes an obligation' what are the necessary actions beyond Qurba to Allah - which in itself is an ongoing effort regardless of time and age. What are the practical actions from Sunnah that lead to achieving political change? What are the neccessary actions that we must engage in to achieve the establishment of a singular unified political entity that is based on the Shari'ah? I am very happy to see this discourse becoming more widespread in the Ummah. Now we must seek crystallization of the idea so that the people can see the practical outcome of the yearning that burns within us all - especially after seeing the apathetic response the 'muslim' states have had in relation to our Ummah in Gazza and beyond!!!
I feel like this answer defers the heavy lifting of practical matters to a later date, hoping for the solutions to come. Meanwhile the threats to this proposed kilafa come from practical and rational networks that dont leave things up to chance. The love for Allah is there in people. Enough love. We need the other things. Things that love can't buy. The ones that are immersed in love are content with that love, and ready to leave the dunya to be closer to the beloved. They wont care for the worldliness of building a kilafa. This implies that what we need instead are good Muslims who love the dunya enough to build a kilafa.

Salam alaikum, Alhamdulillah excellent video especially in this time. I have 2 questions though 1. Is it wise for us to adopt terms (catagories) that are ascribed to Muslims by non-Muslims, such as islamist ? Aren't they just Muslims from amongst the Ummah spending efforts on the path of an obligation ? 2. Isn't it strange to argue that Khilafah isn't realized do to the absense of piety in those who strive for it ? And the presence of some pious observer(s) amongst us in this Dunya, who noticed others lacking (or meeting standards), did not have any other result in that very same respect and time span ? So either the pious neglected to join or advise or undertake by themselves or we don't have piety amongst us at all ? Because they failed to act upon that which they knew ? Or is it that the analysis in it's entirety should be revisited ?
Even his detractors are glad his movement brought the revival of the Khilafah to the fore. However, his movement is extremely close-minded, anti-Ulamah and has produced a bunch of parrots who hand out flyers, raise banners, regurgitate stuff and have produced nothing matching the academic rigour of even this Ummatics "platform".
Well, the problem like uniting countries becomes who becomes leader then it's a mess. It's why a country has set governance of many powers. A set view of collaboration is only probably applicable today, so many counteyes san unite in a united way in conditions but there will probably not be one leader. Too many clashing heads. Start snall with united programs. An islamic caliphate and governance, is already there in a sense. But lets not pretend like dynasties didn't fall either. If you look at history and look at the reaults of the whys youll see many issues reaulting in too much arrogance and control freaks, no checks and balances. United is possible if condirionsbare plausible, so youll get these factoons wanting a full caliphate to return, but im pretty they only want their leader, so other factions will disagree and they'll all fight each other. So its just a fools game in ego tripping versus starting small in actual uniting assistance, like infrastructure help, economic help, education and such, like conditions for conditions.
It is all part of Allaahs' wisdom for the Muslim ummah. After a huge void of no Khalifa in the Islamic world, we will be blessed with our long awaited Imam Al Mahdi & Isa Maryam (a'laihis salaam). This will begin unfold in the coming years InshaaAllaah all out of Allaah's grace, Allaah's mercy for the Muslim ummah. With or without a Khalifa we are to forever build our relationship with Allaah to the point we become amongst his friends and live as his friend. This never changes with or without an Islamic ruler.
Khilafa can only be possible/successful through Wilayah (divine guardianship) and in absence of a singular Nabi or the Mahdi, a council of prominent Ulema (scholars) should be accessible to provide guidance through (Shura) consultation with various experts.
If it was hard for us Afghans to unite all of our ethnicities (Pashtuns, Tajiks, Uzbeks, Turkmens, Hazara etc.) under one flag, which caused too much bloodshed, how on earth would you think it is to unite all "Muslim" nations under one flag, despite all the sects there are in the Muslim world?
Exactly which also highlights how people lack real understanding of Muslim history. There was not unified khalifah, especially after the end of the Khalfiah rashidun. During the ottoman time, there were other sultantates and khlaifah around the world. West african muslims were never under the ottomans, same goes for the southeast asian communities. This modern idea of some total one unified community just isnt real.

Maybe the Muslim countries are too authoritarian and fascistic because it seems if the font love Allah and deen like people do not fear loss, in the sense that they don’t learn lessons observing the disasters of people who are not religious? And think “ thank God for the deen I could be like that!!! I love it as it saves.” if everything is very strictly controlled maybe it becomes like a religion which is good but nobody realises it i.e. like a fridge in the background which nobody hears even though it’s on (it’s called habituation in psychology I think). Another analogy would be Buddha before he left his palace - if he didn’t know the suffering, why would he bother with a path?
Muslims who speak about the khalifa speak about it openly from the comfort of being in the west. Give this same speech publicly out in Saudi Arabia, Iran or Eqypt and let me know how it goes.

@TheGreenfrog140 We can not pledge our loyalty to a Caliph who holds beliefs that either go against or are not found at all in the Quran and the Sunnah. Outside of that, as a political power, good on Iran for standing their ground in their region and for having honour, pride, and dignity unlike the step-brothers of the Zi.oni.st (the monarchs put in power by the British).
ISIS was a desperate attempt to establish a Khilafa without the consent of ahl hall wa aqd ,What a disaster that was ! These are times of Fitna. We must return to the Fundamentals of the Din , unite the Umma upon the Usul by following the Sunna and not following Taghut .The reality is that the modern nation states has become the new world order since WWI and WWII.

Dr. Israr may Allah (سبحانه وتعالى ) have mercy on him, explained this point well. He says that in order to work and call for Islam, you have to first implement Islam on yourself and on your family. And we know this was the tradition of our profit Mohammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم)
Working to establish the Khilafah is a fard kifaya

by strengthening your deen first!
@@wewenang5167 why do you Think workining towards the Khilafah and strengthening your deen is exclusively divided..
@wewenang5167 Khilafah is a collective duty. When a sufficient number have knowledge, belief, taqwa, they work on the obligations even if some individuals are lacking or lagging behind.

He did emphasise this. Literally the last sentence was you do what you are doing and love Allah.
So much respect for talking about this. May Allah bless you.
Asalaamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatu

{Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “If you ˹sincerely˺ love Allah, then follow me; Allah will love you and forgive your sins. For Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”} 3:31
The sheik mentioned this also. It is to make the intention to fulfill your obligations towards Allah and if you fall and sin, to repent immediately.
Like it says in a hadith Qudsi
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
Allah (mighty and sublime be He) said: Whosoever shows enmity to someone devoted to Me, I shall be at war with him.
Start with love of those who love Allah and the fard, then nawafil.. keep going and Allah will grant an opening insha'Allah

how do we know we have fulfilled the condition to have a khilafah?

I have 2 questions though

ISIS was a desperate attempt to establish a Khilafa without the consent of ahl hall wa aqd ,What a disaster that was ! These are times of Fitna. We must return to the Fundamentals of the Din , unite the Umma upon the Usul by following the Sunna and not following Taghut .The reality is that the modern nation states has become the new world order since WWI and WWII.
is1s was created by m0sad, in order to discredit any real Khilafa movement.
@@briancordero7674 no it was isreal creating an excuse to kill Muslims.
