The new REs have lost the beautiful sound of the thump which the old models had. You could count the strokes of each sounding thump...t'was simply awesome. No motorcycle company ever could copy the original sounding thump of an old RE(1960 To 75)...sorry even the new versions of the RE do not have it in them.

I am dismayed that RE have not given serious consideration to the wider market of bikers (like me) that will not straddle anything less that 1 litre. RE have made V twins in the past. Enthusiastic engineers have created V twins from existing 500cc blocks and heads (recall the "musket"). There is an enormous market for 1 litre and 1.2 litre bikes for enthusiasts like me but RE keep ignoring us. Please Royal Enfield will you get into the cruiser market with your beautiful bikes and remake the V twins of old so die hards like me and millions like us will swing a leg over. I will gladly trade my BMW R1150RS for an equivalent Royal Enfield if only would drag your collective asses from the ground and do it.
Royal enfield manufacture are making we Indian fool looking at the quality of metal they are using all nuts bolts they used of MS quality. All royal enfield u take 350 or 500cc engine make noise when u ride above 80 speed whole bike start vibrate. Engine noise like tik tik quality of timing chain and wheel they used not good. They need to improved quality when they charge so much with customer I would like to meet person who has design engine of royal enfield like to show him 🖕🖕🖕🖕
