I'm so glad it was helpful! The sequence would be how they're ordered in the video actually (1st essence, toner, serum, barrier treatment, moisturizer, sleeping pack).
I 'm surprised you didn't talk about the bamboo toner in this video haha ! I guess it's just not exactly "skin barrier focused".... hmmm now I' m hesitating between ordering the vita b5 toner or the bamboo toner... also I wanted to say that I feel like you glow in recent videos !
It was on the short list! 😂The barrier benefits come from the amino acids in the bamboo toner and in that sense I think Laneige cream skin delivers more amino acids, whereas the vita b5 is much more packed with barrier helper panthenol! If it helps you decide, I reach for the bamboo toner when I need hydration but if my skin is feeling a little more dry or even a little irritated I reach for vita b5. Thank you so much, I've hit a good spot with my skin lately! (and working on learning better lighting! 😉)
Another fantastic video. I still need to get iUNIK’s Oil Serum. I did order the Time Revolution Bridal Cream (Aqua), as well as MIZON’s Snail Repair Eye Cream. Oh, and a couple of Etude House’s Lovely Cookie Blushers (so pretty!). Thanks a bunch, girlie🍃🌸
I'm glad this was helpful for you! Thanks for the idea! My favorite snail products are most definitely Benton Snail Bee Essence and Cosrx Snail 96 Mucin Essence!
Kelly Driscoll awesome! I’m definitely going to give it a try. I have oily skin do you think it will not be too rich for me? I’ve been looking for a silicone free cream that has ceremides and peptides forever. For whatever reason my skin does not absorb anything with silicone. It just sits on top of my skin. Do you know of any moisturizers that are silicone free , essentials oil free, fragrance free with ceremides, peptides and HA? I know I’m asking for a lot. But you seem so knowledgeable and I’m currently trying the keep cool and soothe serum and I’m loving it. Thank you for all your awesome videos.
No, if your skin is oily I think you'll really like this as your moisturizer! It's really lightweight and not sticky at all, very hydrating and packed with all the good stuff!
Hi Kelly! I’ve just recently discovered your channel and am enjoying watching your videos as they are so informative:) Were you planning to get/try out the Klairs Fundamental Watery Oil Drop? I was thinking about purchasing it but wanted to know your thoughts.
None of them had added fragrance, alcohol or heavy scents! The only product with essential oils is the laneige cica pack, it has a touch of palmarosa and tea tree oils, no heavy scent.
As always your videos are so informative and helpful!! Thank you! Any recommendations on summer cleansers to help with clogged pores and gentle enough for dehydrated sensitive skin? I’m currently using purito defence barrier but feel like it’s not cleaning out my pores. (I’m also double cleansing with oil first). Have you heard of wishtrend acid duo?
You'll probably have more success using a gentle BHA or PHA product rather than relying on a cleanser to help your pores (they stay on the face for so little time before being washed away, it's hard for them to be effective). Cosrx has some good options, you only need to use about 2x a week.
Thank you love this! I am currently using the laneige refiner and expecting the keep cool toner along with the I'm from rice toner in the mail Do you have the 411 on soon jung toner?
My moisture barrier and skin was doing so good but now with all this humidity, it’s more combo dehydrated than dry and dehydrated so I don’t know what to do. I’m taking out some hydration a little and leaving in my nourishment and I’m gonna try that.
It's really hard to find that right oil/water balance, especially when the weather is playing confusing games! I like to use a skin analyzer, it tells me the % of oil and water on my skin, it's not a perfect device but it helps me get a grip on my dehydration. I find it especially helpful to check 1st thing in the morning to see how well a skincare routine hydrated and protected my skin. I found my skin analyzer on amazon for about $15.
Hey Kara, not really atm! I was using retinol about 1x every week or two but I actually just decided to stop completely for the summer because I feel it might be making my skin really photosensitive. I have been playing things by ear with my skin and I just currently don't have/feel the need for anything so I haven't used an active, exfoliant, retinol in about 4 weeks now. So far so good, that will most likely change and I've been curious to try something with PHA so that might come in a month or so, we'll see.
Hey, what yu said almost in the end of the video abt too much moisturizing will lead to whiteheads made me thinking...does applying a thick layer of moisturizer in turn, lead to whiteheads 🤔
It only will if you are overloading your skin with more than it needs! I find that some nourishing products I love in winter can be too rich in summer time when my skin usually needs less nourishment. It also isn't just 1 product but sometimes the combination of products that you're using that can contribute to overload. I like to take note of my skin at night and in the morning, if it feels like your skincare is sitting on top of your skin, rather than absorbing you might be overloading your skin.
I've actually never had a facial or seen an esthetician or dermatologist! I'm not really familiar with these treatments but I think it's best to see someone you trust and feel comfortable with!
Hey girl, Dermatory hypoallergenic cica cream, what do you think about the ingredients list on this, and do you think it will help with the moisture barrier?
Ingredients look okay, I haven't tried this or heard of it to really help you much further than that. Shouldn't hurt your barrier, would like to see more ceramides in it but could be a nice supporting product. Texture really seems to play a big role in this too because it's got to be able to protect from TEWL!
I love these videos on barrier repair and K-beauty. They are a game changer for me! 💕
Such a helpful video and I have to say loving your makeup today! Spot on!!!
Thank you!!😘
I finally bought the Laneige toner 👏👏👏👏and you were right 😉it’s amazing 😉 I love it 🥰
Yasss!! I'm so glad you're enjoying it!! They hype was 100% legit on this!🙌
This video is so helpful and thorough. What is the sequence for using these types of products in your beauty routine?
I'm so glad it was helpful! The sequence would be how they're ordered in the video actually (1st essence, toner, serum, barrier treatment, moisturizer, sleeping pack).
Thankyou!

Yass, I really think you'll love the bridal cream! Those cookie blushers are really just the cutest, I have been lusting after them for years! 😍

That's so cool, we're on the same wave length! 💕
Could you make a video only about azelaic acid? How often you should use it etc... Hard to find something really informative about it :)
Very very helpful video!!!!! A lot of New skincare to buy. Please make a video about snail, and your favorite snail products, brands ect.....
I'm glad this was helpful for you! Thanks for the idea! My favorite snail products are most definitely Benton Snail Bee Essence and Cosrx Snail 96 Mucin Essence!
I’m interested in trying the Jin jung sung cream. Can you please tell me if there is fragrance?
There's no added fragrance or essential oils!

Which of these products don’t have added fragrance or really harsh smells? Thanks, great video 🥰

You should try benton PHA peeling gel... Mild enough to exfoliate sensitive skin!!!
I've only heard good things about it!
@@KellyDriscoll yes... I've been trying that... So far so good!!!
I should get the laneige skin refiner Im hearing so many good things about it
I've got some in-depth content coming on it soon, I do think it's a great product!
Thank you love this! I am currently using the laneige refiner and expecting the keep cool toner along with the I'm from rice toner in the mail Do you have the 411 on soon jung toner?
Nice, I actually have the rice toner coming too! Soon Jung everything has been on my forever wishlist but haven't had the opportunity to try it yet!
My moisture barrier and skin was doing so good but now with all this humidity, it’s more combo dehydrated than dry and dehydrated so I don’t know what to do. I’m taking out some hydration a little and leaving in my nourishment and I’m gonna try that.
I also have more acne than normal. My skin is usually clear because my moisture barrier is balanced but it’s fallen out of balance and I’m struggling

Have you tested the cosrx ceramide honey ceramide cream
I've never tried that one!
can i use vaseline petroleum jelly for my occlusive ??
You can, many people talk about using it, it's not going to add much moisture, it will just lock in skincare.
I also meant to ask do you use any exfoliation these days and if so what is your routine? Thank you

Hi what are your thoughts on iUNIK - Beta-Glucan Power Moisture Serum. Thank you
It's good, I actually just started using it a few weeks ago! Odd texture though, kind of stringy.
@@KellyDriscoll In your opinion are the ingredients clean and is this a good product for sensitive skin.
Yes it only contains beta glucan and sodium PCA!
Do you still see an esthetician for facials? How do you feel about microdermabrasion and silk peels??
I've actually never had a facial or seen an esthetician or dermatologist! I'm not really familiar with these treatments but I think it's best to see someone you trust and feel comfortable with!
Kelly Driscoll WOW it’s pretty amazing you’re able to heal and keep your skin looking great without professional help. JEALOUS! Lol
