Hi, just to let you know the Black Label is owned by Teddy and it’s a small company under YGE. Basically, it’s like Teddy is an employee in music production department in YGE, mainly taking care of BlackPink and also be an owner of his own company under YGE too. Artists under Black Label are pretty much self-produced artists. Somi chose to sign contract with BL, instead of big companies coz she wanted to learn and involve in almost every single things in her own work and that’s why it took time for her for just 1 song. Teddy is a producer but there are parts, ideas, lyrics, music direction, etc that she did involve, too. Ex: the rap part, she changed it many times coz she wasn’t satisfied with it. Even idea, mood and tone of this mv are from her, too. So pls don’t rush her. She wanna work as an artist not an idol. Also wouldn’t it be mean if Somi signed with BL coz she wanna work with Teddy but then Teddy hires other PD to work with her? I understand people get bored of Teddy music style but at least, this song doesn’t have that signature celebrated anthem outro like what we normally hear in Bp music. And from all Somi’s works, this is the one I like the most.

Although I understand what you said and I definitely respect that she has so much input and hands in on her projects, I think it just comes down to everyone having their own individual preference. One might think that sticking to a set amount of producers is limiting while others might think its completely fine! I don't think it would be mean at all if Somi worked with another PD at some point. Collaborating is so common these days in terms of producing / songwriting / etc and I'm sure she (and all artists) would love to try something different at some point. I'm not rushing her btw, I'm just reacting to a mv from an artist I like, thats all
