wish they still did service to banff and through the rockies from calgary to vancouver
think of all the many tourists who might be potential customers on such a rejuvenated connection. Is the CPR really the culprit of this situation?

I just wanna say thanks to Brian Mulroney, for killing this, that was I big mistake making those so called budget cuts, the Jasper route is not as pretty, if the Canadian still operated through Calgary and Banff I would take it.
@Juan Sanchez you got me, Mulroney's transport minister said that the Banff route was no longer making them a dime.
@Juan Sanchez I know they chose eastern Canada over western Canada Trudeau needs to make Via like it once was.
Never heard of the "Transcanadian."
