Man this was a crazy match. So was the Blackbeard match with this deck. Talk about balls of steel using "on play" effects right now with no fear of BB on being either even or odd don.
Dude got MAD lucky seeing everything against Blackbeard and BB running cold, but props to YGOD for taking it all the way in Tokyo of all places. The new X Drake is a HUGE piece for Yellow in general but Enel especially.
Enel player was lucky to be honest @15:17 - enel knows only a trigger could save him: 0 cost event (you are the one who should...) saved his ass. Not particularly a doffy supporter (as a lucci player 🙂), I d say that Doffy should have deserved to win if it was not for rng... it could also been a bege, god knows 🙂. But Enel seems to clearly know the match up and the starve strategy (worse than playing against nami to be honest) seems to work in both match up (the other being blackbeard)
tbf it was multiple swings and any number of triggers could have done it not just the 0 cost event, bege, nami, luffy, hell even raigo due to opponents life if seen on the previous cards instead of the franky as there were multiple hits - can seem far more RNG when its that LAST card..... BUT ALSO keep in mind, he had 3k worth of counter to live at 0. play yamato and clear board anyhow. He discarded one of the 1ks TO the 0 cost event trigger, and then never even used either of the two 1k's to reach his victory point. You can i guess make the argument that the triggers all furthered digging through the deck but i mean never ACTUALLY changed the outcome of VISUAL knowledge.
@@moonbreon 100% this is true def in 09 for a lost of westerners. They'll def in generally already need to start considering the fact EVERY deck outside maybe doffy right now is packing mega boss character drops. Its one of many reason stuff is tough out here for BY luffy. we are for sure rn moving past the zoo style board fload, and into the age of 7+ molly whop drops. so ppl need to consider Raigo, red roc, and the like.
