- Let's save any audio file that was sent to you on Facebook Messenger in this quick and easy guide.
Facebook Messenger allows you to send audio files but it no longer has a built-in way to download and save that audio file to your iPhone or Android. In this video, I walk you through a workaround that will allow you to save the audio file to listen back to whenever you want. This trick works the same for iPhone, iPad, and Android as well as any Mac or PC computer.

Why is it gone? Why can't we simply download it anymore? Why do they keep making stupid changes that only make facebook and messenger worse?

is good that you complain, but it would be better if you complain directly to fb and ig, so Meta, if we are more complaining about it maybe they'll listen to us? :3
There must be a simpler way, but this is much more helpful than all the videos instructing me to use methods that don't exist.

0:50 yeah is a shame that fb took out that option, and even in ig, they took out the option easy to DL videos stories with only the info page, now is not possible -.-... There's a trick but takes longer :((.... Meta is not nice as before ://
1:40 Oh :( with screen recorder, is not nice neither because is the video file of the cellphone so it is a larger file size... and you have that option in iOS, in Android we don't have it at least my old smartphone (2019) soooo, you need 3rd party apps, etc. :((
I will try to find a way, I was trying with the Developer tools from the browser but no success, maybe in Apple works??

All good but I still wish there was an easier method for iPad or iPhone when someone has no access to a PC.
