I'm coming to canada on April 3rd but my college begins from May 6th onwards. So is it okay to come to canada a Month before my college starts? Is it a problem at the time of immigration?
i have sx-1 student visa ( guest allowed to study short term course - less than 6 months ) will i go through the same process as other students who are planning to study for more than 6 months
My visa was approved in April for May intake, unfortunately due to late registration I defer to September intake. Should i make its known to the border officer so to make changes in my study permit date regardless of what is stated in my visa.

Hm one month should still be okay. But I would not come any earlier. Also you are not allowed to work during that time until your school starts.

less than 6 months wont qualify for pgwp though

yes, let them know bring your new loa, and depending with the border officer they might give you the extension as per your new loa try to ask them.
