Lanterns & Luminaries 2024

On April 11, 2024, Old North Illuminated hosted Lanterns & Luminaries, our annual celebration of the "two if by sea" lantern signals at Old North Church. The evening was an absolute blast! Our honoree, Cmdr. Billie J. Farrell of USS Constitution, delivered an inspiring keynote about the power and relevance of historic sites. As two lanterns lit up the sky from our steeple, Paul Revere and William Dawes galloped by on horseback. We ate, we drank, and we sang more than a few sea shanties with our incomparable musical guests, Tripp and Toddy. Most importantly, we raised funds to continue Old North Illuminated's educational and preservation work - bringing 300 years of history to a diverse audience.
