There’s no shame in taking medication if it helps you stay sane lol. Some physical health issues can’t be fixed with guided meditation and some mental health issues can’t either. I agree doctors can be way too quick to give out medication buuut sometimes meds are necessary and that ok. Stopping all the meds at once is why some people completely lose it afterwards. So yeah it’s some misinformation but half of what Jeff says is sarcasm/joke so I guess no one too that advice too seriously lol.
Also, Jeff if you have trouble sleeping you could try Seroquel. It’s not addictive like a benzo or Ambien and it’s great for sleep, especially if it’s anxiety keeping you up all night.

Jeff I have serious extreme insomnia and recently started doing sleep meditation and yoga nidra I find it does help with anxiety and calming . I felt the same as you though in the first few sessions .
Does it help you sleep or something. I been struggling to sleep
try taking a magnesium supplement. research about its benefits for sleep.
melatonin works best or tylenol PM i take seroquel which is a prescribed insomnia medicine but i would try asking your dr for trazadone first if that doesn’t work ask to try seroquel i LOVE it i don’t have to worry about sleeping anymore it’s the best it changed my life seriously i’m so thankful for it
@@8CheerleadingGirl8 magnesium actuslly helps the body produce melatonin naturally so that’s better than taking the supplement itself. Not sure about the other one you mentioned.
@@8CheerleadingGirl8 Seroquel is an antipsychotic but it’s side-effects are sleepiness so that’s why it’s prescribed for sleep off-label. It works great when it’s anxiety keeping you awake. It calms your mind and body down.
