A Snapper push mower that is unique

Quick look and startup of a 1987 Snapper push mower that has a briggs and stratton engine on it with a date code of 87090304 which translates to Sept 3 1987, which is the day after I was born!

I have sold that model Snapper mower when it was new, I still see those model Snapper models in service. We have been a Snapper dealer since 1958 one of the oldest in the Gulf South area.

got a 1987 for free, never had a Snapper before, 3.5 hp, starts up runs good, did NOT NEED a carb cleaning, the old B & S engines are grate !!

Quantum 35, first style to use electronic ignition (Magnetron). No more points and condenser.

The Max engine was before the Quantum.
That's not a Quantum. It's a Briggs Max engine

Snapper lawn mowers have always been top quality machines same caliber as lawn boy M series and Toro proline good video these machines will make ya money if you can find the right one 👍 kinda like Chevy trucks...built to stay tough

This deck is steel. Earlier versions used a Magnesium deck.
