that just shows that everyone likes different stuff ! that SPF (essential glow) is my HOLY GRAIL ! ive repurchased it over and over again.... and I've tried over 20 different SPFS but will always go back to this one no matter what ! great video !
I really appreciate their free TerraCycle recycling program and it often tips the balance when I'm shopping. I also appreciate the education they provide through the Ingredients dictionary, Beautipedia and Bryan Barron's bi-weekly You Tube videos. I like most of the products I've tried and have used many on a regular basis, but they've not been able to ship their non- greasy spf 50 in weeks, which is my daily body spf that I get through their auto-replenishment service.
The rise in price is definitely not just you. If it wasn't for the near-constant sales I wouldn't be able to use PC anymore. But yeah, they are one of the best skincare lines around, for sure. And hugely influential for certain beauty trends that are big right now.
Exactly. I have used Paula's choice since it became available, however, due to the price increases over the past few years, I only use a couple of products versus what I once used.
Hi! I’m less than a minute into this video, first time viewer here. I could tell right away where you’re from, cause so am I!! I love hearing intelligent women that sound like me!! 🥰 instant recognition with the accent; I’m loving your vibe, enthusiasm and intelligence already! SUBBED!!! Edit: not even 5 minutes in and we’re already talking what it means to talk Philly!!! Yasssss!! South Philly born and bred!!
I agree with you about all these products! I’ve yet to try a few of your faves but I’ve added them to cart 😃. The glowy sunscreen was the worst thing ever for me. So thick. No thank you. I use it on my hands daily just to not waste it. Thank you sooo much for your skincare content. I trust your judgment and have found some holy grails. 🙌🏻
I just recently discovered Paula's Choice Smooth Finish Conditioner for my hair. It is a beautiful, wonderful product that makes my hair soft, shiny and easy to manage. It is also fragrance free! Thanks for the reviews on Paula's Choice Skincare. That Retinol cream sounds great!
If you like the Resist Hydrating Cleanser, I would encourage you to try the Moisture Boost Cleanser at some point. It has a very similar texture and feel as the Resist cleanser, both lather slightly over wet skin and rinse clean. I just happen to prefer the Moisture Boost. It was one of the first products I tried many years ago, and I've been using it ever since! My favourite sunscreen is Hydralight All-Mineral SPF30. It does have a slight white cast when you first apply it, but once is settles in, it's barely noticeable. It leaves a beautiful finish on the skin, and looks great under makeup. Another product I've been using for years is the Resist Super Antioxidant Serum. I couldn't be without that one for daytime! I apply it over top of my Vitamin C serum. Anyway, I thought I'd share some of my "tried and true" products from Paula's Choice! There are so many great products in the line.
I almost feel guilty loving that radiant SPF and you don't! I love how heavy and shiny it is. But yeah, overall, I totally agree with you. The Azaleic Acid PC product didn't do for me what the Ordinary version did. But otherwise, I really can't go wrong with Paula's Choice.
Love this!! Been watching you for a while and as a 39 year old who still is fixing up her adult hormonal acne, I can very much appreciate your content! IMO, I didn’t really care for the defense line in general. I was so excited to try it and so much wanted to live it but was underwhelmed. I totally agree with you in the retinol and the fact that the boosters are kinda not worth the $$. I enjoy the weightless advanced repairing toner-had resveratrol and peptides. A new find for me: Purito BHA Dead Skin moisture Gel has become a new fav after the exfoliate. Don’t know if you’ve tried it but I highly recommend:)
I do really love this brand. I enjoy there boosters (azaleic) especially. The peptide one I liked, but agree with you about cost... way too much. Have you tried retinol with bakuchiol yet? I can use that daily. Love resist and earth sourced cleansers and all moisturizers you mentioned. I think there clinical moisturizer is great for REALLY dry skin. Have a Great week!
Wow it’s amazing that you have dry skin and you did not like the essential glow sunscreen, it’s become my holy grail sunscreen. I think the opposite, I think it feels light and so hydrating. Just shows that we are all so different and individual. I do love the peptide booster but you are right, way to expensive.
Oh weird maybe I got a bad batch lol. No it's true- skincare can be so subjective. I think I got so used to the lightweight nature of Korean sunscreens- I'm so picky now with them!
I just started using the neutrogena retinol moisturizer and was soooo skeptical initially. I noticed right away the diminishing of my forehead lines and fine lines near my temples! I was so surprised. I mean it wasn’t a miracle, they are still there...just less noticeable. I have very sensitive skin too, so I’m super happy. Maybe when I am done the jar I will get the Paula’s choice one :)
Great review! I have tried a few Paula’s Choice products and have really enjoyed - especially the Retinol eye cream but it’s just not super convenient in Canada and by the time you make the $$ exchange it can really hike the price. I do order occasionally when they have a good sale😊 Was wondering if you would ever consider reviewing Sulwhasoo? Just wonder if it’s worth the price? And I think it’s cruelty free but not entirely sure.....just wondering your thoughts on it:) Have a fantastic week Lauren! Xo Tammy Roy 🇨🇦
The ordinarys salicylic acid burned my skin too. I tried it twice as a spot treatment before bed and was itching my face all night long. I had a red rash for days! I'll have to try that exfoliant!
I’m Australian, we drop a lot of sounds from words too. I love PC products, agree on the price rise in the last few years! I have 43yr old oily skin & I love many of her products. For me the niacinamide & azelaic acid boosters are amazing, as well as the entire light blue resist line.
Hello! Fellow RN here 😉 Great video. I use PC as well and really like several of her products. I have been interested in the 0.3% Retinol + 2% Bakuchiol so thanks for the info 👍
Ha, I'm from the south and we say crayon with two syllables too. I tried the Resist line a few years ago and didn't really like it; maybe my skin want ready for it yet so I'll have to try it again. Ido use the orange bottle moisturizer with SPF. I'll also have to try the retinol treatment. Thanks for
Hi Lauren! Love your videos. My holy grail Paul’s choice product is their super light daily wrinkle defense spf 30 (light blue and white bottle). Best sunscreen!
I really love the omega complex moisturizer, and I have been trying the vitamin C and retinol moisturizer. I like it a lot, and I want to try the 1% retinol.
I'm not Elizabeth, but I think it's pretty good. If you've ever tried DE Lala Retro it's a bit like that consistency-wise. Fluffy, but rich and doesn't dry greasy at all. It's good for dry skin but if you have super dry skin (like me!) you might try adding a bit of oil under or over it, on the eye and lip area or wherever you're dry. I'm on my third bottle of it now!
Hi Lauren, I’m so glad you mentioned the moisture boost Moisturizer. I love it!!! It’s so underrated. I also really love the moisture boost cleanser. Try to get a sample, I think you’ll like it too! Thanks for your video! Sending you love from Australia🇦🇺❤️
Hey Lauren! I LOVE a lot of Paula's Choice products. Their Omega complex moisturizer is great. I'm thinking of getting the serum too. I'm a total skincare junkie lol. I've been hearing a lot lately about a brand called Truth Treatments. Have you heard of it? It's very pricey, but people are saying the products last a long time and they are "life changing" which makes me wonder if they are getting paid for their reviews ;) Always enjoy your videos :)
I love Paula's Choice but yes - not cheap. Kind of ironic given that her goal when she started was to prove effective products don't have to cost a lot. BTW-Ponds Cold Cream was big in 1972. Been around forever. Who uses that stuff now??
I have only tried one product from Pollis choice. I ordered the niacinamide 20% and I find it very effective for my combo skin. I am in Canada so it’s not as easy to have it shipped here a little bit more expensive if you don’t order enough. I will definitely be trying more products in the future I want to get the exfoliant

I love Paula's Choice, but I don't buy anything unless I can get it 20% off. Retailmenot usually has coupon codes.
Exactly. I have used Paula's choice since it became available, however, due to the price increases over the past few years, I only use a couple of products versus what I once used.
Resist super light daily wrinkle defense SPF is my holy grail daily SPF
I need to try it!
I came here to say the same thing! It's a matte finish sunscreen, and I have dry skin but I lurrrrrrrve it anyways!
Paula's Choice was purchased by TA Associates in 2016. This might be one reason for the price increases.

Love Paula’s Choice. My fav products are the Hydrating Cleanser and Replenishing Toner. Use the toner as an essence. Great video.

So happy to hear comments like this!
I love Paulas Choice, been using them for over 10 years.
Awesome reviews! Can’t wait to try a few of your faves that I haven’t yet 👍

Thank you for the wonderful review. Your makeup looks absolutely beautiful! I love this combination on you.

What is your thoughts on the timeless peptide serum? I know your a fan of the Vitamin C and I did purchase that because of your recommendation!
Glad to hear you’re liking it! It’s great- absorbs better than The ordinary Buffet. Buffet is a little heavier

Woo hoo! Yup retinol is no joke. I love science haha
I love the PC 1% retinol...I can use it everynight now with no irritations. You are so right about the fast results...🤗
Hi. I'd love to know your opinion on herbivore pink cloud cleanser? 😍amazing video btw

somehow your accent sounds so much more elegant lol
My favourites are the Azelaic acid booster and the 2% BHA liquid exfoliant. They are pretty expensive though

Haha I'm glad it's not just us- how about mayonnaise? Mannaise? Lol
@@thehonestbeautyreview It's mannaise!! Lol
Hi Lauren! Love your videos. My holy grail Paul’s choice product is their super light daily wrinkle defense spf 30 (light blue and white bottle). Best sunscreen!
Thanks! I appreciate the rec! I almost picked that up! Next order 😉
So drying for me!
I really love the omega complex moisturizer, and I have been trying the vitamin C and retinol moisturizer. I like it a lot, and I want to try the 1% retinol.
Thanks Elizabeth- how's the moisture on the omega cream?

Andi hit it right on the head! It's a great DE dupe. Perfect for the winter months for me.

Oooo I’ll have to try it! Hello from over the pond 👋🏻
haha I love your accent!! Are you from the Midwest?
Your makeup is beautiful. Can we get a chill grwm and recreate this lewk
Hey Ashley!
What serum where you talking about that plumps, I don’t see the link?
Hmm- the three serums I mention are the retinol, aha, and the peptide booster
TheHonestBeautyReview the spoke briefly of an ordinary serum that you like better than PC peptide booster
Oh yes! The Ordinarys Buffet. One of my favs. I'll link it :)
I love their Intensive Wrinkle Repair with Retinol. It's a mid strength retinol, good for daily use.
Love ur eye look...wud like a tutorial on it...gorgeous

I haven’t hmmmm I’ll have to check them out
Pls do a hits and misses on Naturium!
I love your eyeshadow what are you wearing?
Thanks I'll link it. Colourpop Flutter By. I'm having a ball with it!
I love Paula's Choice but yes - not cheap. Kind of ironic given that her goal when she started was to prove effective products don't have to cost a lot. BTW-Ponds Cold Cream was big in 1972. Been around forever. Who uses that stuff now??
I want to try the retinol
I only buy when they offer 20% off and keep extras.
As another Philadelphian I definitely notice your use of “exspecially” haha
🤣 it's funny how it just comes apart of you- I don't even realize the crazy things I say anymore lol
The funniest part is the fact that you continued to say yahoba even when you corrected yourself haha
I have only tried 3 things from her brand the Bha liquid hydrating cleanser and the ultra rich cream but I do want to try more
I have only tried one product from Pollis choice. I ordered the niacinamide 20% and I find it very effective for my combo skin. I am in Canada so it’s not as easy to have it shipped here a little bit more expensive if you don’t order enough. I will definitely be trying more products in the future I want to get the exfoliant
Have you tried naturium? It’s amazing. I’m in nursing school so I have such a deep respect for nurses, they are heroes 😀
I haven't! That launch was such a disappointment, but the line looks really promising! Thanks Sarah and I hope nursing school is going well!
You are gorgeous. :)
💗💗💗
wow 💕💕
I hated that glow moisturiser..you're right thick and with white cast..use it at home ..look like a ghost haha
