- Today is a request video where I answer the questions are the National Guard troops still deployed and patrolling around the US Capitol and what's going on at the White House roof today? Apparently, a number of viewers were watching the White House webcam and saw a group of people on the White House roof so they texted and sent me messages asking if I could go check it out. I did, but I must have gotten there too late because I really couldn't see much going on. I also checked out the US Naval Observatory's master clock to see if it matched up with an iPhone and we met up with Mustang Medic next to the White House who told me he was able to find a few national guard troops unloading at the US Capitol.

There are bus loads full of troops there in DC. There is another person videoing there in DC and she filmed them coming out of their hotel and loading the buses, maybe 6 buses full and she followed them to the Capitol and filmed them all going inside. Actually, they were going into the Derksen.
WOW!! Six loads of buses just for the Capital. That is a lot of military in one place. Hmm! I wonder why?

God day, no winding this time.
I now watch you P6. I used to follow mustang medic but after he went on and on about not caring what his followers think or say, he also said he didn't care whether he lost followers or not, so I unsubscribed. I doubt I'm the only one that left. I comment often trying to leave positive comments. I love you in Christ. Hugs.

Hi P6!! Do you ever get close to Ford's Theater? Would love to see the area, hear the history of, ( besides what horribly happened to President Lincoln, but please also include), and to learn a little history of the Owner of the house across the street where Lincoln was taken as maybe you would know of past Buildings of those times that shared the area where People of the day would go, restaurants then and now or any extra history that would enlighten we viewers.
I've been by it, my Aunt said "There's Ford's Theater" as she had her foot on the gas to The White House!! We barely got our little heads turned around to glimpse it, haha!! If a tour inside is possible, that would be very interesting if you're ever able. Just a thought as sometimes you ask for ideas!!

Up here in PA, it was also calling for sunny skies but looked like it was going to rain. I carried my umbrella with me going by how sky looked. Not by the forecast. I go by how sky looks as opposed to what forecast says

How about you wear shin and elbow guards? Bear grips?
Those clouds are not rain clouds. The darker areas indicate wind where dust particles have collected, but until the clouds merge and get a uniform light grayish color it likely won't rain significantly. Isolated sprinkles are possible. The darker the clouds get, the stronger the wind can be. Think tornado dark.

It's a pedal assisted bike from the DC bicycle share program. There are 1000s of bikes around the city we just jump on and ride off.
@@Penguinsix That is really a great idea. We don't have them out here in the country. I think Atlanta had them but they experienced a myriad of problems. Traffic and construction .

Do you ever get to Anacostia? I know that it is much different now. I lived there as a child. It was very quiet, mostly residential with some businesses at the lower end of Good Hope Road. And there was Kramer Jr. High and Anacostia Senior High that my older siblings went to.
I will try to get over there. Some areas have changed, but some are well, still a bit rough. We'll try to get down there though.
@@Penguinsix Please only if you feel it is safe. My grandfather had a house opposite to a library, if it is still there on Good Hope Road. My family had a house across from an orphan home, also on GH Road. Both houses were torn down with apartments or houses at the site now. Towards Nichols Ave (MLK Ave) on GH Road there was a movie theater, Ourisman Chevrolet, Wall's Bakery, a hardware store and a Five and Dime. I went to Ketcham Elementary School, which I think is still there. I am now 72, so you can figure that things have changed a lot!
There were 2 buses. Some getting off and going to the trailers across stree. Others getting in a bus to leaven.
