Thanks, Jessica. You know what I love about you? You get right to it. Your instructions are to the point and very clear. Also, thank you for no intro. music. I really don't care about intro music and find myself fast forwarding so I can get to the important information. Happy New Year!
I love watching your tutorials! I want to let you know that I have started matching the bottoms of my work first when making quilt blocks, as you do, and have achieved much better accuracy! Thank you!!
I totally feel you on wanting to make all the things: placemats, table runner etc. 😂 that was so fast I feel like I ought to just make some hearts today too
How sweet! I made some large mug rugs last year for Valentines Day and want to add some coasters and a table runner. This idea will be perfect for the coasters and I am thinking about using several of these hearts along with some sweet basic blocks in pretty colors. Keeps these videos coming. I think I am going to join you with your sampler quilt this year. I just moved across the country and in my new home have a sewing room. Super exciting, I haven't used it yet and this will be a good idea to start!
I’ve been stocking up on (more) Valentine fabric, looking for a pattern I could make a throw or a quilt & these simple hearts may just be perfect!!! I love your videos, thank you for sharing!!!
Good morning! Thanks again for another fun-focused quilt tutorial. I really enjoy watching your upbeat videos. 😊Question about your upcoming quilt-along, could one use a line of Christmas fabrics? Like for example A Quilty Little Christmas, fabrics that all go together. If so, how many different fabrics in a particular line would be a good number to have to make your mystery quilt look nice & well balanced?
I love your information on making a heart block. Also thank you for the link on the heart block sizes. I was curious what presser foot you used to piece this quilt block. I have a Bernina 770 QE that I absolutely love.
I like this heart! I always label my quilts with a corner label, but I think for a more personalized design for family and close friends, I’ll make this heart and use it as my quilt label!! Which Bernina do you have, Jessica? I have a 770, which I use mostly for edge-to-edge because of the throat space and a 570 for everything else. Love my 570 the most, but don’t tell my 770!!😂 Thanks for the video!

You're welcome! Happy New Year to you too.
So so true! Jessica, you have such enjoyable videos!
@@rebeccasewing Yes I like when she gets to the point

Thank you! Seasonal and holiday placemats are high on my list for this year. This is exactly what I need. ❤
I love watching your tutorials! I want to let you know that I have started matching the bottoms of my work first when making quilt blocks, as you do, and have achieved much better accuracy! Thank you!!
I'm so glad to hear that!

So love your videos! Thank you!❤️
I love your style. I just need to motivate myself to get back at it. Thank you for a smiling face in the morning 😊
Garland would be fantastic!
Hearts are always so sweet! Thank you!
How fun! You made it look so easy. Thanks for sharing.
Really cute. Happy New Year!
Hearts are my favorite! ❤️
I love your work. My heart is 60 inches. A friend did the math for me. I love to make huge blocks. I call them picnic blankets. Xo
How cute
This is great, thank you!
So cute 😍 😍

Oh absolutely! I’ll bet a Christmas fabrics sampler will look wonderful 🎄
Christmas fabrics would be great for the quilt along! I can't really recommend a number of fat quarters. You can use as few or as many as you'd like!

❤
Cute block. Thank you for sharing this! ❤ Like your scissors. What brand and type are they?
Jessica, would you please tell me about your extension table? I love it!
It is a clear extension table from SewSteady.com. They cut the clear tables to fit the machine that you have. There are multiple sizes too.

That's a nice idea!
I have 770 QE PLUS and I love it! I have never tried the 570!
Could you make a heart using a 10 inch square? Just putting on the corners? ❤
You'd have to cut it in half vertically because you'd need to put corners at the tops on both the inside and outside.
@jessica_dayon Oh yes! I have fabric that would be beautiful hearts 😍
I'm new to sewing, when you nest the seam which way do you press afterwards? I have trouble with which way to do it 😂😂
I can probably explain this better in another video. But you press it with the iron in the same direction that you sewed it.
How nice to have a machine that doesn't eat the beginning stitches into the feed dogs! Recommendation?
Hi
Is this heart block a part of the 2025 mystery quilt
Hi, no it isn't. That quilt along doesn't start until January 16th. That'll be the day the first two blocks are released.
