  • Lets see if the Polaris Ride Command updates can fix the crap audio quality from Rockford Fosgate and MB Quart OEM audio system in a 2021 Polaris RZR 1000 XP 4 Premium. Free fix?

I updated to a 100 watt mtx micro amp n 2 Polk audio n 2 kicker 6.5 in and it sounds much better. Hooked it up right to the ride command

I installed 2 6.5in kicker kick panel speakers and 2 8in kicker tower speaker's with a 800 watt Rockford amp to my ride command and it sounds amazing. It's to loud to sit in and i still have 2 more 8in tower speaker's to install. You can install any speaker you want under the dash. I would recommend kicker 10in for the dash.

I've noticed Polaris has some quality issues as of late. Lots of fitment and goofy issues on 2018 Polaris Ranger 1000. I didn't know they also had goofy software. Good to know, thank you.

I saw another video saying to change (in audio settings) the country from USA to any other country and the volume is noticeably louder. I just got the Razor XP Turbo Ultimate and haven’t played much music yet.

Hey, great video, I have the same machine 2021 RZR XP Premium with Ride Command. Stereo sucks, looking to install MTX thunder that goes with the ride command. Anyone have used them or has anyone bought something to enhance current system?

Thanks for the comment! I have not done much research yet to figure what my next step would be. It would be great to read some other folks experiences with ride command.

Unfortunately it looks like the system needs expensive aftermarket help.

Mines all treble and I hear a lot of buzzing when there’s any bass lol

Yeah.... I still think it is a problem with Ride Command and not so much with the amplifier or speakers. ALthough buzzing might be a panel vibrating or a blown speaker.

Hoe much has all these goofy audio issues cost you? I feel like if a guy brought it into a Polaris dealer to work on this stuff it would be in the thousands of dollars range, and not even get good results.
At this point, I would rig up one of those bluetooth speakers that have their own battery; im sure you can get ones with big speakers. Probably cheaper than trying to fix this garbage. Expensive crap is what it is.

You will never get good sound out of Ride command nor the factory speaker locations.
Just look at it, no airspace for the speakers, it's not sealed up.
Also, MB Quart sold out years ago and is not the same company from back in the day.
I went with an MB Quart head unit, It's way better but I think there are still better options...that's what I get for trying to keep it as cheap as possible
