Wow that is one mile from my house , crow wing state park . That tree is a red pine aka Norway pine. That is a special spot there , the convergence of the crow wing river and Mississippi River. There is some interesting history there if you have time check it out. There’s an old ox trail crossing still viewable today from the 1800’s. Very cool and interesting .
Wow that’s so cool, reminds me of the game Oregon Trail I used to play lol. I need to take some time to watch some videos on trees so I can get to know more of them

Good luck with your new place! I have the little two-recliner couch you pointed out. It's amazingly comfortable! One thing to know is that you can flip it on its back and unbolt it to disassemble and move it. The first time movers took it we didn't know this, but the second time the movers disassembled it and it was cake!

I am from FL so it’s so weird to me how places just shut down in the winter. Still let you camp there but no facilities or water available lol. You on your own

The denser the bear population, the more aggressive they can be. Lake Pillsbury has a huge population of large black bears that arnt very nice

How so you keep safe with that heater? I'm assuming you don't run it while you sleep? Have you taken seats out of your SUV or just slod them back. Love your set up.
I don’t sleep with it on as I just use a warm sleeping bag, you could if you need to though. Just make sure to have some ventilation from windows being cracked and have a carbon monoxide detector just incase. As far as the seats I removed the middle ones and left the rear ones in

I love it, I switch back between k cup and grounded coffee all the time lol. It also has a really nice coffee pot compared to the cheap glass ones. It’s kind of expensive but totally worth it in my opinion amzn.to/49UX8LW

Bro I legit was there two weeks ago and there was a bear walking around my camp glad I was camping in my SUV like you, 😂 there is something creepy about that state park.though probably because it was a battleground for native tribes
