Dear @IndianYakker, Thank you for your question. Regarding your question on avoiding the manual action of cell linking. Unfortunately, you have to repeat the process manually for each checkbox. Every checkbox is unique, so they need to be linked individually. That said, Excel will soon have a new checkbox feature. This feature is currently in beta phase with limited accessibility. Hopefully, it will be available to the masses soon. You can check out our video on the new checkbox feature of Excel. Hello @youngbeard25, You are most welcome. Glad to hear that you found it useful. n Excel, you cannot directly replace the "TRUE" and "FALSE" values generated by a checkbox in the linked cell. But you can use an additional column with a formula to display alternative text. For example, if the checkbox linked cell is D5, you can use the formula: =IF(D5, "Available", "Not Available") OR =IF(D5 = TRUE, "Available", "Not Available") in another cell to show "Available" or "Not Available" based on the checkbox status. Hello, *StanTR!* Thank you for bringing up your concern about the manual connection to cells in Excel checklists. But once you create this checklist, you don't need to manage your task manually. Still, if you want something that will do the work for you just with a click, it may be worth contacting the Excel support team to ask about any potential updates or improvements that could be made to address this issue. Hello @ImSonnyBurnett, Thanks for catching that at 1:45. The term you're looking for is actually 'developer tab.' Sometimes, auto-captions can play tricks on our ears! 😊 Rest assured, the video is all good and accurate. Just a friendly reminder to keep the language clean - we're all here to learn and have fun. MADAM I HAVE EXCEL 2013, NOT OFFICE 365 IS IT OK?
Yes, it is perfectly fine to have Excel 2013 instead of Office 365.
Problem with checklists in excel is the requirement for the manuel connection to cells, still in 2023... :/
