    Having a dyno day, with a hub dyno has to be fun.

      It’s not as bad as you would expect if you have 3 people working it

    Do you leave the jack under it supporting the weight, or does the dyno support the weight once it's connected?

    • @JoeSimpsonAtTempest
      @JoeSimpsonAtTempest  Год назад +1

      Dyno supports it. Jack is just there as a safety net. There isn’t any weight on it

    Joe Simpson, does it matter if you let off of the jack completely when you bolt everything up or does Mainline recommend to leave the jack under the car with some weight on it?

    • @JoeSimpsonAtTempest
      @JoeSimpsonAtTempest  Год назад +1

      There is no weight in the jack. Just there incase you blast all the wheel stuffs off or something

    I know your a busy man but do you use 3 or 5 bolts with the adjusters that slide on the universal adapters?

    • @JoeSimpsonAtTempest
      @JoeSimpsonAtTempest  2 года назад

      I use the maximum amounts of bolts available on anything i bolt up

    Does the vehicle need to be strapped down to the ground like a roller dyno

    What about pin drive hubs ???

  • @Daniel.rangel
    @Daniel.rangel 4 года назад

    After hooking up both hubs, do you still need to keep the car supported by the jack?

    • @JoeSimpsonAtTempest
      @JoeSimpsonAtTempest  4 года назад +3

      No you do not. Most of the time leave it there with basically no load on it “just Incase” something was to come undone there would be an extra level of safety. Who knows if it would actually do anything in that case though haha

    Hello i have one question! I dynod my bmw on same dyno! I got 289,5hp! But is that on the wheels or engine power?

    • @JoeSimpsonAtTempest
      @JoeSimpsonAtTempest  2 года назад

      Hubs or wheels. To get engine power you would have to take the engine out of the car and put it on an engine dyno

    What does one cost?

  • @juanc5149

    This looks small enough to fit in a home garage.
    Now I just need to see if I have 80k on the couch to get one.

      Yup would totally work for that. I’d like one of those couches too
