I have been friends with people who have more financially than me but more overweight/less conventionally attractive and they would make snide remarks so I cut them off. I've also been friends with people who had money and good looks but were jealous of my kindness and authenticity. It's very difficult to find friends who have good finances, are attractive and also are nice people. For this reason my circle is very small but I'm lucky to have some close family.
This! Befriending low or negative value people(if they are malicious) will level you DOWN! They will undo your hard work of self improvement and healing. I’ve had many jealous “friends” who would start drama when they saw me start to have some success. I felt much better and my life got better as well as soon as I dropped them. Now I know to clock people’s intentions and vet them.
I completely agree with u. If u tell them u r going on vacation, they get jealous and ask oh, really?den ask the price of the hotel rooms. If u discuss gym, they are surprised why i go the gym and wats the monthly membership fees n wats the need to go. If they come to know which schools are yor kids currently in, they will immediately ask wats the fees if i discuss hair color dey say why do u apply hair colr. U just use henna in hair as it does not have chemicals. If they see yor househelp, they get triggered and ask wat she charges.. so i dont allow dem in my inner circle anymore and just be polite and talk nicely wen i bump onto them..
Yes i have one friend who always say to me: oh you going shopping again???? Don’t spent to much money ( hello?😲🙄) she told me!!! I spent my money . Not hers . And that because she is so tight on $$$ she work herself to the sick ! She never groom herself . She was pretty girl but neglected herself terrible …. Sad story . I like her as friend but really can’t get that I love treat myself like princess . I don’t have kids . I can afford to buy nice stuff. But she would never approved …..
It can happen with anyone these days most people are fake. l experienced someone who would put people down for not having a great car, great house ,dress in labels. she would book the most expensive cafes , restaurants and when it came to paying she would step aside expect others to pay for her because she liked them to try level up to her!. In the end l found out she had a huge debit , rents her bags , clothes, her car had a loan. she lived with her family still couldn't afford anything, it was all a big fake shit show. at least l own my car, own my house own my clothes and can pay for my food.
I hope there were consequences for the person in your second example. I can't imagine that she got away with that scot free. And holy smokes on the last example!! I'm so glad you called her out in such a classy way and made her pay for her own meal. Unbelievable!

This is the 2nd video I have watched of yours and I really like your honesty. Straight to the point!! I find it so sad that women can be so jealous and resentful. This friend that you hadn’t seen in years acting very spiteful and resentful the moment she saw the car you were driving and how you looked. I have a few thoughts to share, I mix with many different social settings and platforms. I think that there are many ways of looking at it….I think it comes down to character and humility. I don’t believe it’s about social levels, if it becomes about social levels, then you are dealing with people that are just nasty, whether they were of good social standing /wealth (or not). You get this kind of behaviour from someone if they are basically prone to jealousy. I know plenty of high ranking women that have it all, beauty, career, top education, and wealth and they are still bitter when another woman of beauty enters the room. It’s about choosing wisely and going on instinct. My opinion is that I think you have a beautiful well cared for body, you are very pretty and you have a nice energy. No matter what walks of life you mix in, you may well experience horrible people. I really don’t believe it’s about levels. I have a friend that I had encountered when she was doing very well, she then went through hell and lost everything, but she is still the same strong and beautiful spirited person I have ever met. That is because her core was right from the get go, and decent. These are just my thoughts and observations over the years. I fully get what you’re saying, just never doubt your first instincts, that’s my opinion. I think you did the right thing with this friend that clearly ordered the most costly thing on the menu, she totally tried to take advantage. The other idea is that she thought she would never be able to afford that meal in her life and blindly thought you could afford it, and that you were being kind offering to pay. Either way, her morals were not of good order and she allowed her selfish thoughts to over rule her greed. ❤ M
