Great video. I am a small channel myself and only watch other smaller channels because they have better content. This is right up my alley. Just subbed

    Guy's.....
This, this right here! Ya'll really look at his kit! It's effective and didn't break the bank to get it. It's not top of the line kit but it works. He uses what he has and makes it work! You take his kit, build a shelter and start a fire you can stay alive for a very long time! Food is you're only real limiting factor!

You might try spraypaining your metal bottle with black high temp barbecue paint. It cuts your boiling time down a good bit. Also your spikes are Ice Trekkers, , superior to yaktrax. I've used them for years

Seems like even time can't kill the ALICE packs.

Hi, thanks for the video. I just subscribed. I've seen the gazillion Alice pack videos, but no one actually using them and only reviews, I already know what they are, I have several of them medium and large. I really like the medium Alice the best too, I've been tweaking my pack for years now, trying to get it just right. I also wanted to try and make the medium work for winter camping. I just recently bought the Paria Thermodown also. Can't wait to try it out. I have one question, I would like to bring a small one man tent and trying to figure out the best place to put it on or in the medium Alice, any advice or tips would be really appreciated if you ever carry a tent with you? Thanks for the info on all the gear also. 👍

If you roll it down with your poles inside, you could throw it under your lid before strapping the top down. That way it’s right on top when you get to camp.

A really good video, but i have one comment about your sleeping bag, in my part of town I wouldn't call 180.00 dollars cheap.

Thank you! I meant cheap compared to most down, zero degree bags that run between $400 and $500 dollars.
