As fun as the more modded raid vids can be, the Shenanigoons just tackling a legit boss fight that's less "staged" always felt more endearing. The Universe 7 vid always struck me as a happy medium between the challenge and funny bits.
I very much agree. I think a lot of the later ones became purely just memes and as a result way less interesting. Sure they're still funny and I still rewatch them but like... that's it.
As good as the mods were, they just don't match the sheer pressure and dread the regular raids inflict on these guys. The mods, despite the funny moments, didn't feel as intense or satisfying. They either felt too frustrating or just bland. Don't get me wrong, the mods really are good. But the originals definitely do it better.

These two episodes were more tense than actual DB fights. UI felt absolutely unstoppable.
