To explain what he's saying at 12:14, basically if you have 445m viewrange and the enemy has 10% camo you will spot them at around 400m. But if you have 500m viewrange you will spot the same enemy at 445m (max). So adding more viewrange remains useful for high camo tanks.
On prok I actually like reversing up that bush line in my lights. It keeps you from moving in too quickly and puts you in a better position to escape if you do get spotted.
So on a tank like the manticore your viewport is the outer edge of the tank (turret backwards ofc) and you can proxy another light and not get spotted because their viewport ismt in the 50m proxy-range with any of the 'spotpoints' of your tank.
@@Poken__ The same way when you are sidescrapping, hiding your tank but move the gun to the side, you spot the enemy because the head of the commander is inside the gun haha
@@Poken__ dont be confused with proximity spotting and normal spotting, any tank can spot another tank inside their 50m proximity range regardless of viewport, soft cover (bushes) and hard cover (terrain/buildings). If they are outside your 50m then its normal spotting If they are inside then its proxy and you're both going to spot eachother
8:43 there is a wooden fence before those bushes, there is no way to hide in them without destroy the fence, so you can use tactical view and see if the fence is damaged anywhere
Kajzoo, you are a perfect combination of the things: professional player with professional youtube skills. Those pieces of information/experience you comment during the replays help a lot (fx like shooting an EBR after it turns) Amazing job bro, greetings from Denmark :)
your movements and passive scouting have taught me a lot about patience and slowing my game down. I dont rush anymore and find myself living far longer to help my team in lights
Your best video so far Kajzoo, you gave a ton of tips and explanations, love that. Also, I really liked the 8:27 map part, it would be amazing if you could use it more often.
3:25 but the where your EBR went is safe to spot all crossings heavies. It has also very important advantage vs. “yolo” spotting with no return close to the bunker which is you spot early enough so your TDs have time to aim. I though that I can also give an small advice to unicum.
That spot only works if tds and snipers are competent though, which only works like 50% of the time. If it works, enemy heavies will reach the lower portion of the map with half their hp, which is extremely important, but very few light tank players know that bush. Well, there are two of them but with 410-420 meters view range the one the EBR chose was enough.
I do like the intros where you show bits of the upcoming fights, but for me it would be better if they were shorter clips so it doesn't kind of spoil what happens later if you get me ? Love the music and commentary mix on this one though!
On prokhorovka, I was in a bourrasque with no lights. I went for spotting build, and I had no snipers at the back of 2 line. Eventually people realized how much HP was down here, ended up being a decent scouting game
At 3:30 there's a slightly better position but its a little more risky. Wouldnt recommend if they have an EBR. But the small group of bushes just to the left gives u better spots on heavies crossing south. I've had games in a toon and managed to get 10k+ spotting multiple times on Man line of all maps.
Lack of shooting teammates is the biggest problem - very often the reason is that they have no angle on what you spot as they are positioned wrongly or don't have mini map on.
On Mannerheim from the northern spawn, you can go where the EBR 105 on your team went, and spot the crossing heavies without getting stuck or spotted yourself.
thank you for the videos, you do a great job of not just showing a great game (like say, jingles or quicky) but also teaching us how to play. Though I think playing the best tanks at the highest tier makes for somewhat impractical advice since "play tier 10 and with an OP tank", while is a good idea, isn't an option for many of us. I'd like to see you play more "challenging" tanks and MM, and give us advice on how to make the most out of a disadvantage as WOT so often gives us.
Biggest struggle as a light player is when you get teams that literally wont shoot at anything you spot, even if it's a sideways Maus in the middle of Malinovka. Those games are lost from the start and the only counter is to either fall back or start dealing damage yourself.
I have had shit mm the last 3 days. I won't follow you anymore🤣🤣🤣 You're the best, just keep going. Looking at you, I play differently, and my wn8 has grown drastically. Thank you💪💪💪

I am a more of MT/HT type player, but recently started watching your LT videos and gave my lights a shot. Did some hard missions for Obj. 260 (got few left to get the tank) and masively improved my LT gameplay. The main issue I have is that the teammates do way too liste dmg and I seem to hardly get out of situations when I need to escape due to overcommiting. Also, could you show us the best setups (equipment and field mods) you use to get these gigantic spotting games? Thanks man, you rock. Also, big shoutout to my country man AgentCro!! F!
I very rarely play light tanks but my main struggle is knowing the correct time to fire. I often find myself shooting enemies I really shouldn’t and getting punished
May add the information that, no matter how many bushes you have between you and your enemy, they give only 80% additional camo. So it doesn't matter if the Char sat behind 10 or 2 bushes with leaves, as one of them gives 50%, meaning the camo-cap of 80% is already exeeded with two.

what is the "sweet number" I need to reach on Camo value of any LT to be able to achieve such active spotting? I try using ur tactics using my Elc-Even, but for some reason I get spotted often, even when hiding entirely in a bush. Is there a specefic camo value and/or view range I need to achieve to get to this level of invisibility?

kajzoo, this is not the first time you say CVS is broken. camo value has a hard cap at 80% that is why people get spotted behind 10 bushes because there is only 2 effective bush in the front of them
The only thing which i am constantly struggle with while playing lights is that i do nat have those 2 TD gamers which sits right behind my in platoon. It is really frustrating whenever you play with ELC EVAN with bad map rotation and teammates that aren´t able to hit sh*t.
