Japan have so much freedom for people to dress how they want without judgment, I wish we can dress how we want in America without people calling you a freak or weirdo! :(
JollyChhay Yesssss I agree!! You don't know how many times people stare at me weirdly and look at me in disgust when they see me in shironuri makeup. D; Ughh
JollyChhay I know you may have heard this a million times, but who cares what other people think? You don't know those people and they don't know you. I get looked at when I go out (I just wear regular cute Asian fashion, nothing extreme like shironuri), and I used to feel awkward because I stood out, but now I really don't care. And I get a ton of compliments! I do think extreme styles are a bit... strange to wear out and about anywhere (even in Japan), but if it makes you happy, go for it! People may think it's weird, but I think many people will think it's cool and interesting C:
JollyChhay the key is - to stop caring what others think. That's the point. However i believe the styles in Japan and people's fashion with other things came out from the same old strong judging on one's appearance, not to mention the society there is so much more reserved than what we have in the west. They don't have the freedom to wear this stuff everyday either, especially if you're just a usual person with a daytime job.
JollyChhay not really true. it's only specific areas of japan that are that open to fashion experimentation. same thing in america. in new york city you will very rarely gets comments on how you look, and it's probably the same in some other big cities. if you want freedom of expression at a higher level than most people then you should seriously consider moving to the city, no matter how extreme or silly that may seem.
+Nicole Johnson I think it is because it shows dedication to the brand they purchased. They are showing that they believe in the brand to last that long and also purchasing new materials before they are done could imply that it's quality isn't up to par/good enough- and they don't want to do that. At least, that is my conjecture.
her skin is flawless omg. I don't even use half amount of her makeup but my skin is ew. her skincare routine must be tough! :O ..that, or she's blessed with naturally flawless skin✨
Hello from England. I've been waiting all day for your awesome videos! I love your tutorials and always incorporate your different techniques when I do friends make up. It would be great if you did some more basic styles as well so there easier to recreate but I still adore the elaborate styles.
So beautiful and artistic. I notice that she has the same eye...thing that I have where the skin sort of overlaps her inner eye corner. I felt like it was a hindrance, but she makes it work anyway. I guess I should quit letting small things like that discourage me from trying out different makeup techniques.
The eyeshadow and eyeliner are either not pigmented enough or too chalky, I'm sure there are other products that she can use. And she really needs to use better quality brushes. But overall she has a really great unique look. Beautiful
ive noticed a few times that they dont try and blend their natural eyelashes in with the fakes, by curling their own and applying mascara around them. its not that noticable since they have dark lashes, but i wonder if thats just how they do
When she appeared with her bare face and hair pushed back by the wig cap, I was shocked at how beautiful her facial features actually were. She looks like a painting.
I dunno, I have watch a lot of Japanese makeup tutorials - including a National Geographic documentary that feature a Geisha putting on traditional makeup (keep in mind a lot of it was not shown because each House has secret techniques) and the application of makeup is less about precision, unlike their Western counterparts. It is very painterly and expressive. So I imagine it is more about how the pen was being used. Honestly, I love this method of achieving an overall look opposed to perfectly lining your lips. It appeals to the artist in me.
+Aleida Aguilar you'll see some models do that (and a lot of japanese magazines recommend it too), most of the people they feature here aren't professional make up artists though so they arrive at their make up look through experimentation.
Do you have soundcloud Account or anything similar where I can listen to the soundtrack? Would love to be able to listen to this. It's my type of electro music. Thanks :)
Eri Wakeshima The songs are original musics made by our staff. They can be listened to on this SoundCloud account : soundcloud.com/eika_japan/sets/chiptune-inside
すっぴんではどこにでもいそうな綺麗な女性なのに、メイクをするととても個性的でもっと素敵です!
自分の好きなスタイルを貫いている人が彼女だけでなく日本にたくさんいることを、日本人として誇りに思います!

JollyChhay Actually, judgement in Japan is probably even worse than in the West, especially in rural areas.

ugh it was so frustrating watching her try to fill in her eyeliner with that dried out eyeliner pen... i'll even volunteer to buy her a new one
+Natasha Burdette it's like everyone on this channel has dried out old eyeliner!!
+Nicole Johnson I think it is because it shows dedication to the brand they purchased. ive noticed a few times that they dont try and blend their natural eyelashes in with the fakes, by curling their own and applying mascara around them. its not that noticable since they have dark lashes, but i wonder if thats just how they do

When she appeared with her bare face and hair pushed back by the wig cap, I was shocked at how beautiful her facial features actually were. She looks like a painting.

The music is not downloadble but can be listened on the soundcloud of our compositor : soundcloud.com/eika_japan/sets/chiptune-inside
Love music can you tell names please
Her face is so cute....
The eyeliner looks so dry and hard to apply):
Darcey Baxter I have a similar eyeliner to hers, it's not too bad to apply it looks dry on cam, but irl it's like an oily substance.

I agree with this :) It's a totally different approach.
すごい、美人
Love this make up look. just wish this girl had way better tools to work with :c
Gosh I miss her Dx It's a shame she's no longer around.
I dont know why...but i like this
These make up artist really should apply some chap stick first to moisten lips, instead of just putting on lipstick first.
+Aleida Aguilar you'll see some models do that (and a lot of japanese magazines recommend it too), most of the people they feature here aren't professional make up artists though so they arrive at their make up look through experimentation.
+M.R. Yan makes sense, it was just beginning to bother me
She's SOOO cute without makeup ! :0
OPの曲めちゃくそ好きだ…なんて曲だろ
BALLER!
AWESOME. I would like some stronger makeup skills though
白塗りした後綺麗
Do you have soundcloud Account or anything similar where I can listen to the soundtrack? Would love to be able to listen to this. It's my type of electro music. Thanks :)

ยืมขนตาไปกวาดพื้นได้ไหมคะ ยาวดี
チークを目に塗ってるときの、粉が、ほっぺに飛んでるの気になるw
