I bought the sanda to see whether I would like the Cartier solo large before spending a lot of money on it. I now own a Cartier solo and the sanda. If you think that the sanda strap is cheap then I can tell you that the Cartier solo strap felt even cheaper. Even though I own the Cartier, I still wear my sanda fairly regularly because it is a great little watch; due to the thickness it wears somewhat differently than the tank solo.
I just purchased one and it looks great. I had an older brown strap from another watch sitting in my dresser drawer that I immediately swapped onto it. I love how it turned out for barely any money at all!
There is one trick with deployent clasp (or what ever it is called). Put the strap other way around ( I know I know it sounds counter intuitive) then clasp will be almost in a middle of the bottom of the wrist. Nice little watch !
As I've already have a few 20mm leather straps, got mine in SS bracelet (same looks as the Tank Solo one). Received several compliments on it. BTW it's got a Seiko-Epson quartz movement (TMI PC20S Singapore or Y120E Japan) Can't argue with it on that price (US$ 13.00 ref. October 2024).
Just ordered 13 euro but ordered a brown and a black leather strap to go with it. Tried to find a Tank alternative but the dimensions of this and the Roman numerals are very appealing. Will wait and see.
Nice review! been enjoying mine for a while now. apparently Sanda now sells the XL size as well. I tried the Pablo Raez XL and found it waaayyy too big for me.
Great review Dan. I agree with your comments, and think this is a great little watch specially for someone like me who do not wear dress watches all that often. BTW, Seiko also makes one for around $140, but to be honest I would go with this Chinese version. Thank you again Dan for another great video. Have a wonderful weekend my friend. Cheers
I literally just bought this for £1.82😮 aliexpress were doing a flash sale with free shipping. Its just arrived and whilst the buckle really is poor, fir the price its so good
A great review, this isn't a watch that interests me except for the case shape but your presentation was really good and I've liked and subscibed. I think dressier watches and particulaly rectangular watches are going to be very popular which will make a welcome change from the endless stream of dive watches, aren't we all a bit tired of them? I would like and am looking for something with more wearability than most rectangular watches, I realize If one was going to design an everyday watch one wouldn't start with a square or rectangular case but with modern manufacturing techniques I think a reliable 100m water resistance is easily possible.
Superb review, mate. I love mine and looking at it. I had a little trouble with the strap but finally figured it out. Loving putting it on and using the clasp. The blue hands and crown blue are gorgeous. 👏⌚💖
Told'ya'd love it, since that wedding. THE trail watch (till the Solarbeat...), now I know I can (and I will...) have a Cartier. Cheers Dan, enjoy mate! PS Had many straps on this, all well until I got it on a red leather one, stacked with it for good...!
the reason i got this instead of a more well known one from Casio, was because this one comes in gold plating, and i like my accessories to have gold accents instead of silver
Cracking occasional dress watch....my only criticism, this also applies to the Cartier and that's the cabochon, it's not something I like....other than that I do like a tank....fantastic....🏴⌚🏴⌚
I bought one but the strap is locked and I can't figure out how it works. And Im at a loss to use it as the metal clasp won't budge and I'm worried about prying it open and breaking it. I can see the strap on your watch but the metal strap won't budge on mine and at a loss because one end of the strap is plain leather and the other end is the metal part that I can't work it out how to actually wear the watch
I seen on your later video that you used a mesh strap, which strap did uou get for the watch and where abouts didnyiu get it? I feel having a silver mesh strap looked absolute class! Cheers.
@@watchmewithwatches it would be cool to know what specific movement these watches use, if it’s an actual good reliable movement this thing would be an even bigger steal.
Standard stainless steel quartz cartier is way to expensive for what it is.This one is a good alternative if you just want that look.Nothing wrong with that and nobody really cares anyway.
Can you tell sanda to modify something about it and make it look different from a cartier pls.. just keep the shape. But change the indices to arabic or something or make it applied indices.. change the shape of the hands.. use a bit of creativity and voila.. u have a wearable and possibly even desirable homage watch
You used to get that sort of thing with a newspaper subscription trial. I had something similar, it just didn't age well. At this price point you have to think about what they use to make this watch. I know that this level of Chinese jewellery can contain high levels of cadmium. Would be interesting to take this thing apart and file off the chrome to see what's underneath. Also when it's this cheap it will fall apart quickly and then you are just adding to the global rubbish heap. So maybe the Seiko Tank instead?
It’s a fake! Homage whatever. Save, save and save for the original Cartier Tank. You’ll be very happy and content. I know I did. Stop wasting time buying fakes!
Just seen this Dan and having a soft spot for the Cartier Tank purchased this just now after seeing this great review of the Sanda. £16.48. 😂 Bargain! Can’t wait to receive it. Thanks again.

I bought one in the recent sale, this video helped me figure it out how to wear it 😅
Thanks. It's a good watch for the price.
Received mine today. Ridiculously good value!
Should have added a strap show but otherwise this is a nice looking watch!
Got the men's version last week, put it on a blue suede strap.
Absolutely very nice.
A good review for a nice watch, maybe i should buy it. My grail dress watch is the Cartier Tank, maybe this should still the itch.

I dress mine down with a brown tropical strap, makes it lay down flatter on my wrist aswell, best bang for the buck in my collection thats for sure
I have a reflex watch like that a got out of Argos a few years ago about £12 at the time still wear it every now and then

Thumbs up for showing how this strap is attached to its buckle 👍
You are welcome.
Could you do a video of the very cheap Foxbox FB0025 and SANDA 3008? it would interesting to hear your opinion of those watches 🙂

Hello there! I sell these via eBay, I have 18mm and 22mm left available. I don't have a shop any more though.
Do you have an update to your hydro-Mod video you did over a year ago? I'm interested to know how it held up and if its accuracy was affected.
Absolutely recommend this watch being a week using it ,
I'm waiting on mine to be delivered. I forgot to look at the band length before buying though.
Do you think this will fit an 8" wrist?
Cheers!
Hmm? The strap is adjustable. Give it a try and if it doesn't work return it. ⌚👍
Can I use it as daily watch? I have a casio but I’m looking for a tank.
Definately daily! Can't go wrong for this price. Mine still keeps perfect time
Yes! This Sanda is better than the Casio. This looks like the Cartier.
How easily is the strap adjustable?
Pretty easy
I found it hard at first until I figured it out. Once you adjust the strap, it goes right on your wrist and snaps right on.
For around 20 quid you can't go wrong.
How do I reduce the size of the bracelet? It is difficult?
Great watch
Can you tell me where can I buy the sanda?,b'coz in my country (india) AliExpress is banned.Soplease.....
Does the crown have any gasket inside? I'm just curious as I don't know if it'll be safe from splash accidents
I don't think it does!
@@watchmewithwatches welp, that is something to note for sure
I like the way you talk magical voice
Is this sanda for men or women? I'm undecided which one to buy because I have a small wrist
This is great for a small wrist. I just bought one and I have thin wrists and still room to spare with the strap.
And for a few dollars more, they make the same watch that actually says Cartier. Right down to the same wrist strap and deployment clasp.
Do you have a link for this?
Say what? Don't think so.

Good review 👍, it looks remarkably good, but I would never wear it, so even £20 would be a waste for me.
