I actually use hearing aids with my iPhone. It’s funny, I switched from my Samsung s7 to an iPhone X and later the XS. I only started to use hearing aids after the iPhone X and I loved the hearing aid integration (Oticon OPN). So when the note 10 came out I considered switching before I remembered that the thing I rely on every single day to hear people is tied to my iPhone I stayed in the dark side and I’m honestly happy enough with the phone over all. A better screen would be pretty nice as well as a smaller notch but not upgrading for a year or two at this point.
@Barnacules Nerdgasm I have to agree with you on that opinion of yours, I also use both iPhone and Android, but I always put the Android down and use the iPhone more. It's just a personal preference. The takes for Android fanatic was very funny!... iPhone X Max ( iPhone 10 Max )....( iPhone Ten Max ).
If you asked me, the Apple lighting connector is much durable than USB. The lightning connector, the female connection is on the housing, whereas USB, the connection in in the middle with a plastic. I had USB connector which the plastic middle connection breaks.
@@AlfaPro1337 The lightning is also a lot more prone to shorting out than most USB cable types. There are up and downsides to almost every small connector for consumer use.
@@pleggli I never had a lighting shorted, nor my friends (whom decided to kept their phone for 3 long years). Even so, there's likely fuse between the lighting connector and whatever devices. Protecting the ICs etc.
iphones: X, XR, XS, XS Max, 11, 11 pro, 11 max. Still no apple pencil with iphone yet? I will continue to carry that samsung note 8 that I got about 2 years after its release date on ebay for $400 as open box. Works very well and has the pen which is the most important part of a phone I really need and responsiveness is great.
I bought my Iphone 6 plus new in 2014, I still have it and use it and probably wont ever upgrade it unless I break it or Apple forces me to. And yes I have replaced the battery a few times.
@@joris7409 How I am I being pushed out? All my apps still work, so I'm missing dark mode so what. Besides some added features to updates that I don't care about I don't see how they are "pushing me out". Granted I'm no IOS power user, I mostly use the phone, message, facetime, GPS and RUclips with only the occasional odd app, as long as those continue to work I'm happy.
Deerhunter102 well your apps won’t get any updates after a while and your phone will slowdown because the new apps are optimised for newer versions of the iPhone and iOS. I am not saying apple is bad for doing this because apple is one of the only company’s who supports its phones for more than 3 years but you will slowly feel pushed out. But you can’t blame them for that because the old hardware would slow the innovation of the iOS significantly down because they have to work on way older phones

I'm not a fanboy of any brand. I just got a OnePlus 7 on Amazon for just under $450. I thought it was a steal with 8 gigs of ram and 256 GB of storage. Anyway, the new iPhone looks great but I'm not gonna subsidize or shell out 11 to 13 hundred bucks for one.
Hey, you can feel better about your phone. I'm using (happily) an LG Stylo 3 that I paid all of $25 for. Strangely enough, it does everything I'd want it to do and some things I never thought I'd want a phone to do. It even has a headphone jack. Hmmm.

3:40 try the Bose HEARphones. They are not perfect, but at least easily adjustable real headphones that allows for amplification or noise cancellation/ear protection, working dual device Bluetooth, and mic works well. I wish it had an API for programming! having hearing problem all my life and unable to afford to replace expensive, easily lost, under engineered "hearing aids" . My mom got recently fitted for $1k and it's the same junk i had 30 years ago. seriously an industry ripe for disruption. end rant.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 that bluetooth connects to my hearing aids. The MOBO in my computer, Fatality 970 Pro (slightly behind the rest of modern civilization), also bluetooth connects to my hearing aids. What's really cool is that I can connect them to up to 8 devices at the same time if I seriously (HAHAHAHA) had the need to. Is there, or will there be, an Otterbox phone case to protect this mortgage payment??
Maybe the USB-C product is signed for 2020 patents. It could be a patent issue to incorporate USB Type C into their iPhone has not come through? from a legal point of view.
I look forward to the day that they make headphones with sound quality as good as hearing aids. Tried some hearing aids for a couple of weeks a while back and you can’t tell that you are listening to a speaker. It is like perfect sound.

Lol, and I just got the 11 pro (not max, too clumsy) in November of last year, a little late to the party but yeah it kicks ass, way better than my X I was using since the dawn of time.
Well consider yourself lucky....iJustine's sister bought the 11 pro max 512 gigs worth about 1500 dollars and she couldn't get it even setup cause it won't go past the Apple logo 😂. And btw i've never seen anyone struggle setting up face id like that. Even my 68 year old aunt got it before Greg did :)
Even if they include an adapter it’s still a big investment in new cables .. for eg. I’d need to change cables for both my vehicles running CarPlay, 3 charging locations at home and at work .. that’s 5 cables I can think of from the top of my head and then I need to have the regular lightning cable in my vehicles when someone with an older iPhone wants to use them ...
So far the only bugs I’ve had with iOS 13 is with the mail app nothing else really, for whatever reason the unread folder is keeping read mail and unread mail together

The xs max wont be garbage till the galaxy S11+ using sd865 and 10gb ddr4. Fun stuff is really coming now that uv lithography is in. imagine the sd865 having 2 more streaming cores and +50mhz on gpu and 100mhz on all the cpu cores with no die shrink and still less power used than sd855+ faster modem wifi 6 and all the fun new stuff.
Bluetooth hearing aids been around for years. I got some back in 2010. It was fun using it to play music during class with the teacher can't tell Me to take the hearing aids out or confiscate my phone
Facial recognition is not that secure. There was somebody that had a Galaxy S10 and he was able to unlock the phone with a video he made 2 years prior. So basically the phone unlocked when it sigh his face from a video on another phone.

Watching from my iPhone SE! Also, if this video is recorded on a 10 Max, then why not 60fps? Does it not do that at 4K? My SE does 4K/30fps and 1080p/60fps. If prefer 60fps 1080p over 30fps 4K.
iOS 13 is quite a bit faster on SE. Not a whole lot but it is noticeable for sure. If my phone won’t fit in my side carpenter jean pocket, then I don’t want it. I love tech but I’ll crack my screen on day 1 at work having a large phone.
Why pay all that for something an Android phone has had available for ages at a much lower cost? I suppose once you've got suckered into the Apple way of being tied to your iPad, Mac or any other device that can't talk to any other manufacturers device then you're stuck with it unless you junk all your tech and get up to date with a more flexible open and lower cost solution that does more.
A guide on using the Camera app as well as Mavic on the iPhone 11 Pro Max would be awesome especially from someone who uses the cameras to their best potential. I have been looking around but have not found a great walk through of the setting and when to use the different lenses. Love your content and very happy to see it picking up again!
Because to get the super high refresh rate panels they have to sacrifice some other things like color vibrancy and black levels even when giving you the option to tone it down.
Your probably joking, but why do people instantly say the iphone Xs are crappy phones when a new iphone comes out, its still a great phone i just can't understand that kind of mentality, nothing about the iphone Xs has changed, its funny in a year the iphone 11 will be a crappy phone. Are the older iphones crappy because they are old? i know people compare it to the newest iphone but other then that why is it considered crappy, other then the iphone Xs are older?
It's the impact of marketing. It's changed how we view most products. The impact of upgrading from the previous generation of iPhones isn't really that huge as compared to say, a 5 year old phone. But that doesn't make older items bad. Which is the challenge Apple's marketing faces. They have to make people want to upgrade and what better way than to make people feel like their older phone is much worse. It's a psychological game.
Vern Levine I agree, i feel that they really need to also slow down on releasing iphones, as soon has you are making payments on a new phone from any company and you are just about to pay it off, they release a new phone and shove it in your face and to the customers then to them they feel like all the hard earned money that people put towards a phone is pretty much useless and not worth it because a new phone comes out, you know. They should release phones at the rate of gaming consoles or maybe not that long, but they do need to slow down on release new phones, every year is just way to quick.
LG has a few baller phones for sure. I just like how smooth ad refined iOS is when it comes to the social media aspects of what I do. I like Android for when I need a pocket computer.
Cool video, but I'll keep my $50 eBay Android w 4GB RAM. It's a $200 to $300 phone. I didn't pay $1400 for any of my 4 current vehicles, sure as hell won't pay that much for a phone that will be obselete before my next oil change.

On the hearing aids, although I'm early 30s guy I have a hearing aid for one ear, and my LG G7 One sounds pretty awesome on it.

Why not just give people options? They could use a screen that's 120hz but would run at 60hz by default.

Your probably joking, but why do people instantly say the iphone Xs are crappy phones when a new iphone comes out, its still a great phone i just can't understand that kind of mentality, nothing about the iphone Xs has changed, its funny in a year the iphone 11 will be a crappy phone. Are the older iphones crappy because they are old? i know people compare it to the newest iphone but other then that why is it considered crappy, other then the iphone Xs are older?
It's the impact of marketing. It's changed how we view most products. The impact of upgrading from the previous generation of iPhones isn't really that huge as compared to say, a 5 year old phone.
But that doesn't make older items bad. Which is the challenge Apple's marketing faces. They have to make people want to upgrade and what better way than to make people feel like their older phone is much worse.
It's a psychological game.
Vern Levine I agree, i feel that they really need to also slow down on releasing iphones, as soon has you are making payments on a new phone from any company and you are just about to pay it off, they release a new phone and shove it in your face and to the customers then to them they feel like all the hard earned money that people put towards a phone is pretty much useless and not worth it because a new phone comes out, you know. They should release phones at the rate of gaming consoles or maybe not that long, but they do need to slow down on release new phones, every year is just way to quick.

LG has a few baller phones for sure. I just like how smooth ad refined iOS is when it comes to the social media aspects of what I do. I like Android for when I need a pocket computer.

Cool video, but I'll keep my $50 eBay Android w 4GB RAM. It's a $200 to $300 phone. I didn't pay $1400 for any of my 4 current vehicles, sure as hell won't pay that much for a phone that will be obselete before my next oil change.
