Food is love, this is a universal language. I love the mom daughter fan family at the beginning and how genuine their gratitude is. I can't wait to include them on my american food tour because everyone needs good gumbo and fried grits. As a younger person we had this rice, ramen, spam, and linguica dish we would cook, especially at parties when we spent 99% of the budget on beverages and such... I feel like that's the weird white person equivalent of army stew and I know it can't hold a candle to the real thing but sometimes nostalgia makes me wanna throw a can of spam and a cheap pack of gaspars at some ramen in sauce and see what happens. I can't wait til my kid asks me for food for a small crowd.... Eff mac and cheese, I'm bringing it back. LOL

If I had money I would open a korean restaurant here in Rio - there are only 2 or 3 places (with amazing good food!) and the korean community is a bit small, but there are a TON of Brazilian K-drama and K-pop fans and they flock around those few restaurants..

I don't normally comment on things, but you are in my town in this video. The Ming's BBQ you went to is actually their second location. The big location is on Pleasant Hill Rd. There is also Iron Age ALL you can eat KBBQ in multiple locations around Atlanta. The biggest being on Pleasant Hill... Actually there is a ton on Pleasant Hill Rd you should try. Including but not limited to Sweet Hut, Snow Flake Tea House, J's Mini Hot Pot, Choong Man Chicken, and sooo many more. You were near the right place with Buford Highway for Dim Sum though. Place called Canton House. Just one Chinese guy recommending some places to another Chinese guy.
@Mikey, If you're still in ATL, you should try Yet Tuh (Korean), Jang su Jang (Korean), Tea top (bubble tea), Urban Wu (Sichuan), and Chinatown food court. All solid food!

The Doraville Ming's is the original location. Its been there for 20+years. The Pleasant Hill location was opened about 10 years ago.
