Oh what?😧I sure hope it hasn’t been cancelled indefinitely as I was excited and looking forward to watching this series, if The Jon Snow series has been temporarily put on hold while in preproduction I sure hope🤞🏼it doesn’t get cancelled altogether like other fans I too will be very very disappointed, nor I hopefully have to wait a decade before I get a chance to watch Jon Snow series.

Guaranteed it will happen, however they will build up to it with all the back stories. HBO has a cash crop with the GOT Universe. I’d rather have it delayed than have a half-ass story.

They should make “Snow” just so they can fix the end of “GOT”
There are a lot of issues from the prequels that need addressing before the sequel can be made. Jace will discuss the past of ice and fire with Cregan in S2 of HotD. I think there is a lot of backstory with the 3 shows of HotD, Kot6K & Aegon's Conquest, which are all intertwined with Jon's story. Another problem might have been getting the actors on board. The most likely story IMO is evil Bran. But would Isaac want to return to play Bran? Sophie doesn't sound keen on playing Sansa again. However, her reasons might have had something to do with her marriage. Peter has ruled out playing Tyrion, but Tyrion had a very unhealthy life & dying from a heart attack or stroke is not unrealistic.
Kit & Sophie are going to be starring in a new film together. They are the main characters and it looks like they are playing a couple and it is set in medieval England during the War of the Roses. I suspect if this proves successful, HBO might push for the Snow sequel to be made.
Didn’t say it won’t happen in the future though. I guess it is too soon to continue with the story after the S8 backlash. First they probably want to concentrate on the spin-offs and see how they’ll do, if successful, I bet that after five years or so there will be at least a discussion about a GOT sequel. Well, it is what it is, by the way really miss the GOT characters.
That’s so disappointing. Jon was such a great character that got stiffed in the final season. I was excited to see where his character went. I was more excited for this than House of Dragons.

If it was going to be as bad as House of the Dragon, its probably a good thing its cancelled. HBO need some better writers if they're ever going to come close to equalling Game of Thrones.
Even that sagged somewhat towards the end.
So that author George. R.R. Martin comes up with the right story for The Jon Snow series in one of his books and series hopefully gets the Green Light to be released and I get to watch series.
I don’t mind having to wait six years and is better than waiting 10 years or worse if they decide to cancel The Jon Snow series altogether.

The last episode of the series Game of Thrones was a surprise for me. This is generally the best thing that happens in soap operas, which is that you don't know what will happen.
The only thing I didn't like in the final season was the way the Night King was killed. Because I expected him to be the main evil in the series, but he was killed almost easily
No doubt they all want a fortune but it would have been fantastic to give Jon a better ending as the Prince who was promised and give the fans what they want a satisfying conclusion to this fantastic show.
