Just joined your build today, so I am looking back on the other video's to catch up. I love the planning and the effort you go to, to get it right, excellent
BRO! YOUR AN ABSOLUTE MONSTER!!! This is 100% my favorite youtube channel keep up the good work my g Edit: Also thank you for filming all this, editing is 10/10 brother!
At this point we realised a nice wide flexi Patrol Chassis under a tall narrow Troopy isn't the best idea. Big ups to the filming content and effort. Look forward to new project 4wd.
Nice work coming along really well. There was a company that made fiberglass fenders with flare all molded into one with a factory shape but around 3 or 4 inchs wider. I seen a set years ago on a old drill rig 75 series with massive offset 12inch wide rims and recently on a troopy converted to a mini tour bus. They would suit the patrol diff poke nice. Also reckon a turbo badge of a 61 series grill would suit yours .
Is that size lift with 35 inch wheels legal? My limited understanding was that 2 inch lift with 33 inch wheels was the maximum? Or is that the maximum without having it engineered?
Hey mate just a question about the steering wheel, how did you get the horn and the indicator cut off to work with the Yaris wheel and the 75 steering column
That's one big troopster. How are you going to get the rear wheel track to match? Are you going to use a patrol rear axle? Would like to see a rebuild on the diffs.
That front end looks huge. Very impressive job on getting the steering lined up. Are there plans for the back end now? It looks a little low in comparison
your front wheels are sticking...out of guards wheel track is too wide ....much wider than rear wheel track .....how are u going sort this issue out.....also is it legal on the road ....or are u going to get the troopy re/engineered or certified for on road use...but it will be a beast of road for sure
Yeah for sure put a video up on the diff rebuild, would be great
Will do 🤙
Yeah put it up
So keen to see the end result. Looking absolutely mint. Keep up the good work.
Thanks bro 🤙

Is that size lift with 35 inch wheels legal? My limited understanding was that 2 inch lift with 33 inch wheels was the maximum? Or is that the maximum without having it engineered?

Yeesssssss been waiting for this my dude!
please do a diff rebuild video love the vids too keep it up
Hey mate, think it will pass engineering been that high?
Will do man 🤙
Swaybar wise look into the torsion swaybar setup, may possibly work a lot better than your traditional swaybar. Design fab do kits
Have looked into them, big bucks tho 🤑🤑
Hey mate where did you get all the tools, fittings and new break line from to make new break lines.
Cheers
Sourced them locally from hitech brake & clutch in Wangara 👍
That's one big troopster.
How are you going to get the rear wheel track to match?
Are you going to use a patrol rear axle?
Would like to see a rebuild on the diffs.
Yeah mate, still haven’t started on the rear conversion using the patrol diffs 🤙
Brooooo!!!! This is sick! So good
Cheers brother 🤙
how are you going to deal with the front end tires sticking out from the flares?
How will it pass with huge lift and tire poke? Or you gonna swap the suspension for inspection etc?
Toyota should hire you in their design department. Showing them how to properly make a cruiser with proper suspension and engineering
😂😂😂
Awesome work dude. What a weapon! Where did you get the kit from? (currently planning it for my 1987 Troopy :P)
Does it call for verti up welds on everything?
What bulbar you gonna put on? Custom?
Twin 4” snorkel next 😜
meant to be building my own rig instead i’m watching this one..!
😂😂 bit of inspiration never hurts
That front end looks huge. Very impressive job on getting the steering lined up. Are there plans for the back end now? It looks a little low in comparison
Still haven’t started the rear conversion using the patrol diff 👍
what steering wheel?
Why didn't you just get a VDJ78 ?
Time for some bigger tires 💪🏻 looks fuckin great
what engine ?
That thing is large
Uggeee
If a troops was a monster truck and was pissed off:
your front wheels are sticking...out of guards wheel track is too wide ....much wider than rear wheel track .....how are u going sort this issue out.....also is it legal on the road ....or are u going to get the troopy re/engineered or certified for on road use...but it will be a beast of road for sure
He will coil the rear too
😂😂 it’s not done mate. It’s going through engineering as we speak 👍
New 79 fronts stick out more then back just put 50mm spaces on
@@ShedBuilt nice true ....had the same model in 75 series ute turbo
@@Tasfarmer its not a 79 front diff housing thou true nissan patrol diff much wider than the 79
sits way to high man, looks ridiculous at that height in my oppinion and will feel just as unstable as it was on 75 diffs... needs lots more low
great build mate, keep up the content love me some cruiser porn!
Were you a writer or still are?
May aswell buy a patrol
🤮🤮
yeah get a cup of coffee just from popping around the corner only good thing on those kettles are the diffs
Fergus Norris no one asked for your opinion mate
@@fergusnorris6694 better than blowing a head gasket
this is what you call built not bought
