This quiz is like the Padres season… all over the place, lots of mistakes (spelling/way question are worded), and frustrating. Also “hitted the ball” should be on some merch products, now that’s a hot seller
@AngelsFan_06 the Red Sox and Yankees had already won before the mariners game ended so it wouldn’t have mattered if the mariners won. But yes. Very sad
Lmao, I know, I was thinking the same thing. Maybe that's more obvious for me because I live in Houston, but damn man, he mentioned that same WS 2 minutes earlier🤣
I was torn as a Yankees fan, I obviously always want the Redsox to lose, and I like the underdog story of the Jays or M's. But there's also that part of me that really wanted a Sox/Yanks wildcard game. I mean, come on. That's what you live for as a Yankees fan. It's gotta happen.
Man AL wild card had the most boring outcome smh, imagine having the underdog Mariners vs the young bomber squad Blue Jays. That game would’ve been insane. Instead we get the Yankees vs Red Sox something we see like every year. Also would’ve been funny to bully Yankee fans if they missed the playoffs.
It's sad how he seems to have gotten lost in history, he was a great closer. Seriously check out his career #s, he ranks pretty damn high alongside some of the best ever.
Hey Marc, will you be live-streaming yourself watching the Post-Season games? I remember you did that back in 2019 and I loved feeling like I was watching the game with you
I knew that the Mariners last made the postseason in 2001. Or as I'd pronounce it, I knew that the ma-REEN-ers last made the postseason in twenty-oh-one. (I've never been able to adjust to that MARE-in-ners pronunciation.)
For real, even aside from seeming like it was written by a drunk gopher, some of the questions are just so weird and random. And not the cool kind of random like some weird record from way back when, the stupid kind of random, like who the hell knows which pitcher had a 4.91 ERA?? How is that relevant to anything at all? That's like asking what the weather was like 4 Tuesdays ago in Chicago.
I’m just really happy I got the Vogelbach one. I just vaguely remember his pimp job and had the idea “pinch hit walk off grand slam” attached to it in my brain and was pretty surprised when I was right lol
In the "Field of Dreams Game" between the White Sox and Yankees. The answer is only partially correct again; as Zavala did hit a two-run shot in the 4th off Heaney; but, Anderson did as well in the 9th off Britton.
I was yelling Howie Kendrick for the grand slam against the Dodgers question. Juan Soto sounds like the correct answer, but it was Kendrick. He came up with some timely hits to help the Nats win the world series that year
I was going to say that you should take a shot of tequila after every wrong answer but you wouldn't have been able to have finished the game....."lolled"
Hey, it should've been the 1899 Cleveland Spiders! They were still part of the National League, hence part of Major League Baseball. I've giving myself that one (as well as negating the one that doesn't make sense). That gives me -$4000.
You had another question that asked about what team was swept in 4 and on their next fall classic appearance won in 7. They list the Astros, however they are not the first and only team to do so. Swept: 1927 Yankees won 4-0 over Pirates Next Appearance: 1960 Pirates won 4-3 over Yankees Swept: 1939 Yankees won 4-0 over Reds Next Appearance: 1940 Reds won 4-3 over Tigers Swept: 2005 White Sox won 4-0 over Astros Next Appearance: Astros won 4-3 over LA Dodgers
Coming soon to a Jeopardy near you.. First 100 point question, category reads “Baseball Batters” Between the year 1983-2020, name a player who batted .283 from the months June - August in consecutive years. His name also starts with a consonant on the first half of the alphabet or a vowel.
I know this is a late response to this video that I just now watched being as though it is a year out. This is in response to the question on the quiz that says only 4 teams have won the classic 5 times... which of the Franchises disappeared. The correct response is none if we are referring to the franchise and not the team. As each World Series Champion is still a part of a current franchise. Boston Americans won in 1903; however they became known as the Boston Red Sox and added another 8. Then you have the New York Giants who won 5 titles; however, they became the San Francisco Giants that spun another 3. Then you have the Brooklyn Dodgers that won in 1955, but they became the LA Dodgers and won another 6. Then you have the Boston Braves who won in 1914 & Milwaukee Braves in 1957; which now are known as the Atlanta Braves that added an additional 2. Then you have the Washington Senators that won in 1924, yet they became the Minnesota Twins adding 2. Then you have Philadelphia Athletics which won 5. and later became known as the Oakland Athletics adding another 4. So the question isn't worded correctly. Even if the intention was to say what World Series championship team from the group that have won 5 or more are no longer around. The solution they provided is incorrect. Boston Red Sox - 8; Cincinnati Reds - 5; LA Dodgers - 6; NY Giants - 5; NY Yankees - 27; Philadelphia Athletics - 5; Pittsburgh Pirates - 5; St Louis Cardinals - 11.... So with that logic; there sits two teams that no longer exist even though they are part of a existing franchise. That being the NY Giants and the Philadelphia Athletics. Both won the classic 5 times. So I totally agree with your reasoning and wouldn't have lost points either with such a poor worded question; as well as a answer that could be any of the teams mentioned. But, as I stated as well if they were just referring to teams then the latter two mentioned no longer exist but both won 5. So technically the answer the person gave is only partially correct.
I know this had nothing to do with the video, but I had to say it for the poor right fielders out there. Whenever someone says that the worst player plays right field. Just use two words… Mookie. Betts.
+2300, wow this is only the second or third time I've ever beaten you on a quiz (I gave myself credit for Tim Anderson as well as the 1899 Cleveland Spiders-shoutout Foolish BB!). Once I figured out what exactly each question was asking though I didn't think it was all that difficult; quite a few references to former Angels so that definitely helped me out as an Angels fan.
Killer baseball quiz: Let's talk about two players. During a 14 (consecutive) year period, these two players played for the same 4 major league teams, and no others (majors or minors), and were teammates for only 1 of those 14 seasons. Name the two players. The first to solve this is truly a major stud, or a hopeless geek, depending on your viewpoint. Wonder what that says about the person who devised this here quiz

Well if you guessed it in 2019, you would be right.
I wish

I played along on this one, proud of my -1300 score.
Go Mariners! We'll be back next year!
There's no way it's impossible🤣
Go mariners!
Yep! Go Mariners!
@AngelsFan_06 the Red Sox and Yankees had already won before the mariners game ended so it wouldn’t have mattered if the mariners won. But yes. Very sad
I got -1100 and I dont feel stupid after watching this video lol
This is comedy! You hitted it out of the park! (:
When did the Astros get swept? The answer was mentioned in your very first question.
In 2005 by the white Sox
2005 World Series against the White Sox.
Lmao, I know, I was thinking the same thing. Maybe that's more obvious for me because I live in Houston, but damn man, he mentioned that same WS 2 minutes earlier🤣
Gooded jobs March! Your dids execelent!

I feel your pain - Mariners fan. We’ll be against eachother next year

As an angels fan I’m sorry i wanted to see that too, definitely at least one of you guys over the Yankees/Sox

The M’s unfortunately had no help from the Nationals and the Rays.
As a Red Sox fan I also wish the jankees missed the playoffs

@@tywenger7082 as a Yankees fan I wanted the Red Sox to miss the playoffs

Hi Marc I just wanted to say you always make my day better when you upload
Philadelphia Athletics won 5 World Series, Pirates swept in 1927, won in in 1960 in 7
Not only are the questions hard but the way they are spelt and worded makes this quiz just a 1000x harder lol
Happy just to end in positive numbers, and really proud of myself for knowing that was Brady Singer's ERA.
10:10 jomboy coming In clutch for this question
You sure did aced and dided awesome on you quiz today! This is my third time in the world I had fed watched you today
“When did they get swept”
2 questions earlier talking about the 2005 World Series 🤣
This killed be man, absolutely hilarious
Troy Percival! That was one of the very few answers that I knew
Marc on first question: that's when the astros got swept
Marc on third question: ?????
I knew the 2002 Angels question, I was working for Disney at the time and I was backstage watching the whole inning when Percy closed it out
It's sad how he seems to have gotten lost in history, he was a great closer. Seriously check out his career #s, he ranks pretty damn high alongside some of the best ever.
Hey Marc, will you be live-streaming yourself watching the Post-Season games? I remember you did that back in 2019 and I loved feeling like I was watching the game with you
I love how natural your content feels.
Jacob Stallings also it a walk off grand slam
Welcome to Texas, Marc! I have to warn you, if you eat at a top notch TexMex restaurant, you may never leave.
Im laughing my fuckin ass off this is so funny 🤣🤣
I knew that the Mariners last made the postseason in 2001. Or as I'd pronounce it, I knew that the ma-REEN-ers last made the postseason in twenty-oh-one. (I've never been able to adjust to that MARE-in-ners pronunciation.)
This is the worst quiz I’ve ever seen
Poor grammar, misspellings, and poorly worded questions. Someone needs to go back to English class lol.

The one with Howie Kendrick and the grand slam was so easy!!!

7/25! Ouch. That was tough.
The yugioh life point sound is awesome lol
Yankees in Playoffs
Mets not… just thought I should leave this here

Can someone tell me the sound effect he is using for the score? I recognize the sound but I can't remember what it is from?
It's from the Yu-Gi-Oh card game/Anime when their life points go down.
i think this successfully rivals Bengal's NFL Jeopardy that he tried that was laden with errors
