      @@joaopaulopavesi6831 bro, stop the fanboying and overhyping. Yes, George's performance was incredible. There's no doubting that, he outqualified Lewis Hamilton. But Williams weren't 9th best. They were top 4 that day. They went for a super aggressive high downforce setup, while others didn't. If the race on Sunday had been dry, George wouldn't have finished even 10th. I don't think Latifi has the capability to outqualify Alonso and Sainz in a much slower car, does he ?

      Yep, that is number one complaint of mine as well,
      just when you need to see every detail of drive line taken, braking points hit before turn, run off points legal, but what's really painful, PS4 GTSports have not acquired this track yet, vs PS3 GT6, where I was on this track for hours a day in Lemans cars like R18's. Man I miss this track for the intense learning curve at these speeds always on the edge.
      From members I race with in this class, they mentioned that the rights to these tracks cost Sony, etc over a million$.
      Kinda blows your mind if true.
      Then it's noticed on other consoles, that they have these tracks missing from GTSports.
      Drives one crazy.

      S AA trail braking - you keep on the brakes after turning into the corner to keep weight over the nose of the car, reducing understeer. The front aero also obviously adds additional weight on the nose.

  • @euandykes
    @euandykes 9 лет назад +59

    That's just insane how late the braking points are and how quick the turn-ins are and then how much speed is carried before it's back on the peddle! I really get the impression there's no room for error; the slightest mistake = hitting something hard very fast. Add to all of this the need to hold your breath on every fast corner because of the G forces pushing your lungs into the side of the seat having just had all the wind punched out of them after the braking. It's controlled madness after an energy drink.

I guess that means F1 should go back to iron discs?. F1 should be about exciting racing. Not cars that are so complicated that multiple drivers in one race can't figure out what setting on the steering wheel they need to use in order to get the car running at top speed. No wonder ratings keep diving.

    Look at his helmet when he’s accelerating/braking. You can see how much the car puts him back in his seat and pushes him forward. Can’t even imagine what that feels like

    You can say whatever you want but VETTEL in his prime was UNSTOPPABLE. And there is no other driver as unstoppable as he was, even Michael or Senna. Seb made lots of mistakes in Ferrari? Yep but he also made it a championship contender... Red bull and vettel were way stronger than any other combo in f1 history

  • @morzee94
    @morzee94 9 лет назад +3

    I can't believe he was able to push that hard during the race! High deg Pirelli tyres and fuel saving means drivers never push that hard now. F1 should keep the hybrid V6's but open them up for development, increase the max fuel flow and max fuel, widen the cars and increase the downforce created by the floor as well as make lower deg tyres. Luckily theres actually a chance that it might happen in 2017!

    while yes the sound of the v8 era is great, v10 even better and V12 is... don't need to be explained. this Seb's run on 2009 which is flawless is 1 second slower than Valteri's lap 9 years later, which is 1:46.286, while seb's 1:47.283
    in a case yes the cars are getting slightly dull sound wise but the speed is improving, not slowing at all
