got the G&G piranha Mk1 in a youtube mystery box and I gotta say I love it so much that im probably gonna pick up some of the others like gpm92 gp2, and this hi capa
@@airsoftgi I get that the Marui Hi-Capa ain't completely perfect, but releasing what is effectively a Hi-Capa that is completely proprietary is just self defeating. This pistol would effectively be fighting directly against the Marui DOR (which also has plastic slide but has some metal reinforcements, made by probably the best GBB builder in the world and is red dot ready), and the DOR didn't go so far to make it entirely incompatible to the point mags are not compatible either, if the DOR didn't manage to revolutionise the Hi Capa meta what does G&G think they can outdo and change the Hi Capa meta currently? The smarter move for G&G is to 1. make some really swag looking Hi-Capas that are using steel/aluminum internals and make them actually competition ready, while making them completely Hi-Capa compatible even if not necessarily required, or 2. Make unicorn builds that look swag and is visually different from the Hi Capa significantly to build an actually different pistol to begin with.
I was so pumped for this until I learned that it is not TM compatible at all. This would have made an incredible starting platform with the polymer slide and stiff spring. But not being able to add after market parts is a deal breaker for me sadly.
My problem isn´t the incompatibility to TM-Mine is, that the GTP 9 is a more modern, streamlined pistol that has the same performance, if not better, and has no stupid key chain adjuster, but an adjustment tool in the backframe of the grip. Also, you could just purchase the GTP 1911 and have the same performance, but in a smaller package, with slightly, very slightly smaller gas compartment. In my opinion a new release, especially from a good company like G&G should be either innovative, like a 2011 that has an improved hop up chamber or a way better gas consumption, or a new model entirely, like a G&G Tokarrov. But this is nothing.I would encourage the GTP 9 or if you want a 2011 get a Jag Arms. Also, beautiful californian background in the outdoor segment.
I dont know fellaz... i feel another KWA capa story coming on here, i think they really made a mistake not making that sucker TM spec.. Not to say I wouldnt buy it just to see what the fuss is about though because i most likely will just to add it to the collection and say that i owned one when they were still alive haha IMHO anyway lol
I just bought this pistol at a local airsoft store..when I get home I operated this pistol to get familiar with it..after 3 magazines..the hop up rubber juts came off..and I have no clue how to put it back..so I took it to the store I bought from..and he just replaced the barrel assembly from another one..I got home and operated the pistol again ..to my surprise outer barrel just falls off..I found out it broke from the middle of the outer barrel...I'm not happy
This is crazy I love my tms but I just saw a post from us airsoft about how sticking to tm spec holds back innovation. Come over here and the comments show exactly what he was talking about. Would it be that bad if someone actually came out with something with improvements over tm spec
Are for example the G& hi-Capa, or Baba Yaga, or the Combat Master or the NUPROL RAVEN HI-CAPA 5.1 the best replicas for training at home for a real 2011 firearm or are there other 2011 or 1911 replicas that you guys would say hold better quality and functions to mimic a real firearm for getting drills of reloads, draws and double tap trigger control training as good as possible at home? thanks for anyone that train both with real firearms and airsoft and can give advice what guns one should look into if one want a functional replica to mimic ones real firearms training as good as possible... Happy New 23! we do Dynamic shooting and also IDPA, dynamic concealed carry competitions... but airsoft is new to us, so looking for best suggestions of quality and functions that eel and work as similar as possible when reloading, double tapping, draw and re-holster as well trigger control feel and sight picture and weight that mimic well a real firearm... thanks!
i dig that polimer slide, still using my stock TM slide snappy and efficient, should have atleast make that gun tm mag compatibile, i hate buying sets of new mags

>Non-TM compatible, or compatible with any other existing brand >Polymer >Costs as much as a Tokyo Marui Hicapa G&G its like you didn't want anyone to buy this.
You can always try to finance a gun through Affirm for like $30-60 a month. I know a couple of people who bought some stuff through Affirm, but that's assuming you have good credit. Or just go to your local field and rent one of their guns, you also get to keep the mask thats part of the rental.
Probably end up like the gtp9 if released in japan, all the mags suck at gas efficiency like barely 10 rounds on a topped off mag, design just sucks ass on hfc134a which is only gas sold and field will let you use. G&G's recommended fix? They released a video telling you to dump gas to cool down the mag so you can overfill more in while its cold??? utter trash hand guns
Why would you buy a gun that's optimized for green gas and then put Japanese duster gas into it? If I were a Japanese person I would just stick with a Japanese gas blowback pistol like a Tokyo marui. HFC134a is meant for plastic slides and is a low pressure gas compared to green gas which is just propane with silicone oil mixed in with it.
Lol, welp I'm somewhat in the same position as you. I want to get a Tokyo marui Glock but I can't get the specific gas that is optimized for the gun which is HFC gas. The gas is illegal in Canada. And if you run green gas in a Tokyo marui it starts to slowly break, especially the slide... It will start to crack.

I’m running there from Connecticut.. just an FYI
Thanks for the review guys!
Plastic slide is less bass to blowback and pull forward allowing for snappy-ness
yes! Stock TM slides are also plastic and they're super snappy!

Welp that is going to be forgotten quick. Who makes a HICAPA that isn’t tm compatible??? Bru there is so much wrong!
G&G has been making some good gas pistols as of late. Let's see what happens to this hi capa!

Already forgotten... Lol
I don’t know. They might release a blue one or something.

wow. not tm compatible. That was a smart move. Tbh competing with the tm hi capa is a dumb move in the first place.
G&G is just trying to innovate in airsoft. TM spec is definitely a good and safe move, but it's an aging platform.

Does anyone know when it releases
innovate on TM though not move away from their well set standard, theres no room for proprietary guns and parts in airsoft
This is like the SMC 9 too I want to upgrade it at least the bucking, barrel, and HopUp G&g come on man😭😭

I want a hi capa but don’t know what one to get
Marui original Hi-Capa 5.1 if you do want to upgrade in the future
But almost people prefer metal steel aluminum slide.
It's more cool and bring metallic sound
So is this going to fail like the ng3 system?
I an still wondering where my stuff is. Been a bit. Aint even got an email.
Dang, this thing makes me want my money back and I haven’t even bought it.
daddy cisco or anyone who knows what their talking about. a got an echo 1 viktor genesis and can’t find cool shit to put on it. any suggestions?

Cooling the mag is actually recommended for basically any mag that you fill up. More Liquid gas flows into a cold mag due to physics/chemistry.
