The best time to extend a coach and/or a GM is that time between the last mini camp and beginning of training camp so they can stay focused on their job and getting everything up and running.

To Aditi’s last point about AB, I wonder if the difference is that AB really works to find out what the other team wants. With Jeudy, he knew the broncos need draft capital and don’t have a qb so what good is a developing receiver? Same for Amari Cooper trade.
